Why do Alliance players/ characters do so much more damage and healing in PvP compared to Horde?

Tin foil hat conspiracy here. I’ve played a lot of PvP recently and every single Alliance player does more damage and healing than Horde players even with the same or worse gear.

My warrior which is fully conquest geared can only seem to hit 25k executes yet a player who has worse or the same gear on alliance can hit me for 68k and my mortal strikes only ever seem to hit 6k yet I can get hit with a 37k mortal strike.

My hunter can only hit 21k chimera and cobra shots yet I get hit with 70k chimera and 50k cobra shots. My serpent sting does 3k-5k ticking damage yet I get hit with 15k-20k.

My boomie can only hit 30k starsurges yet i can get with 45k.

Also my melee and ranged attacks get dodged, parried and miss a lot of the time.

Something is broken…

Some random feral attacked me earlier open world and he dodged over 80% of my attacks even though im expertise capped lol
i was confused as hell when he took negative dmg while my hp just dissapeared (granted i was in pve gear but a tank shouldnt flop over to 3 dot ticks lol)

I have 2 85 ww monks with the exact same gear and i rip ppl apart the same way on both of them.

Horde in general have just more worse and unmotivated players with a mindset every game that they wont win anyways cause of crushed morals

There is no extra dmg for alliance in pvp, only humans are stronger. They can use 2 trinkets, because they have the best pvp racial. Many horde players are often not motivated in pvp and are not going for the win. It is a combination of bad geared people and lacking motivation. Horde characters are not that inferior by design, it is just a part of the Horde player base, which is often not as skilled, prepared and motivated as the alliance pvp players. Unmotivated players are not going to defeat motivated alliance players from a pvp server like Firemaw.

have you tried critting with all cooldowns and trinkets active
and also do you have 3k resilience and how much hit% exper% pvp power etc

It all leads to human racial one way or the other. It created massive faction imbalance in pvp. Because human is so much better for pvp, all serious pvpers are now alliance. The damage can also be partially explained with double dps trinkets, while everyone else is stuck with insignia. Time to nerf the human racial in some way. It doesn’t do any good for the game. There are easy solutions to choose from:

  1. Don’t give the set bonus for X2 dps pvp trinkets. Humans could still use other trinkets that aren’t insignia and could still get the set bonus by using battlemaster for example, which is still op, but at least would bring DPS specs slightly more in-line. Not the best overall solution but better than nothing.
  2. Make Undeads’ will of the forsaken equal to Humans’ every man for himself. Would make it balanced faction wise, but both factions would have clear cut best race for most of the classes.
  3. Straight up nerf human racial already, make it like Undeads’ will of the forsaken, just for different cc. This would probably be the best change as it would reintroduce race diversity for pvp back into the game. Yes, there would still be best picks for every spec overall, but the advantages would be smaller and much better spread out across races and factions.

A good solution is to remove the racials for PvP so we can play what we want to play. This would even out the imbalance of factions.

Only if PvE racials would be removed as well.

This is not a pve discussion. Pve players should go discuss on pve topics.

For me its the other way around. Especialy “the russians” they do out of the world damage.

Russians deal too much damage, take too little and do too much healing.

A rogue just hit me with a 68k evis??? wtf???
