What is the reason for it?
It literally made Demo one of the worst aoe specs in the game.
Pre-patch doesnt represent the true demonology dps output atm.
If you go by beta, demonology is actually one of the strongest, and infact is the strongest aoe spec when it comes to warlock. After it comes affliction.
I personally find a cooldown nice, i just dont like it being capped at 6 imps, i rather have it uncapped and increase the cd as it could then be a strong cd for burst aoe + increase in aoe with “To hell and back” talent.
After playing War Within from start to finish as a demonology main, it just doesn’t feel good to be limited with my aoe, and it being dictated by a cooldown, it removes a level of agency from the gameplay, and makes it so I just have to wait until i can do aoe again.
