Haven’t seen one of these since 2020, I will link the last one down below.
The Wildhammer are proud clans of the Wildhammer Dwarves, who inhabit Aerie peak, Ironforge, Hinterlands, Highlands, among other areas.
They are best known for their Gryphons who they raise from hatchlings and learn how to fly them. The Gryphons are not just mounts, but brothers and sisters to the Wildhammer clan. The clan taught the Alliance how to ride gryphons.
The Wildhammer clan are also known for their ale, like the other dwarves. You can take away their water, but don’t take away their ale!
The Wildhammer are more in touch with nature and the elements than the other clan of dwarves, making them great Shamans and Hunters (and possibly Druids in the future)
One particular thing that interested me in the race is their homes in the Twilight Highlands, which is decorated with stone, nature, and grass. Very unique looking buildings and the inside of it is neat as well.
The Wildhammer of the highlands mentioned they burry their dead hero’s atop the mount thunderstrike, which is decorated with stones and feathers and flowers.
The Wildhammer from the Hinterlands are best friends with the High elves. In fact, when Arthas invaded the elves considered sending their refugee children to the Wildhammer as they trust them. This shows how big of the heart the Wildhammer have.
Choose elf:
Select between void elf (neutral), high elf (neutral), night elf (alliance), blood elf (horde), arcane elf or whatever it’s called (neutral)
Choose dwarf (alliance-only):
Select between darkiron, wildhammer, bronzebeard.
Same can be done for almost any race including orcs (instead of banners with frost wolf, etc.), humans (think of Kultirans), gnomes(mechagnome, regular), etc. and I think everyone would love it. Makes way more sense than the current allied races.
I mean simply having “Dwarf” as a nameplate is not very bad either. People can either perceive it as Bronzebeard or Wildhammer depending on the customizations you use, pretty much how it is now.
What would be cool is if Twilight Highlands zone get remastered and the stupid Twilight hammer Voidy stuff gets erased from the zone. It ruined the zone’s beauty in my opinion.
