Oopsie woopsie your own demented logic failed here because the numbers never increased to that level again despite having ‘good’ expansions, some of which people call the best like MoP and Legion! Cataclysm wasn’t more of a cash cow than WOTLK and in fact a lot of people point at WOTLK as when the games design fundamentally changed for the ‘worse’.
Go find me another MMORPG, IE stock that’s been around as long as WoW and is actually still not at it’s peak? Especially one that is at least half of WoWs peak.

Probs for the same reason as the bold man himself. We love the game, just not the current state it’s in. For me WoW is home, when it’s good, it’s so good. Huge circle of friends on constantly, loads of laughing and good times on discord having fun playing the game. No other game can compete with that for me, and I’m too old to start a fresh in FF14 for example and build up 10 years of friends. But we’re constantly seeing the game rot, get worse and all those friends playing other things.
yeah just the fact they pushing 9 different expansion of a game, the milking of wow is evident, fan boys cant see the deeper logistic of the games and just throw cash in the in game shop
Gotta get that additional outrage in and try to garner support for their stance i suppose. You’d think there’d be plenty of more recent topics to pick from and then include that article as a way of backing up a claim or two, but nope. Instead the OP decided to dig up something that already sparked a bit of outrage back then.

And they call some people “blind fanboys” yet they are mindless haters. Feels like to hate on something is as just as need as to go to toilet. Guess OP can’t go to sleep until he hasn’t hated on WoW …

Then start by creating a thread about the current situation, with a basis in articles or statements about the lawsuit and use the old article as a way of backing up an argument.
Digging up old news, that already were discussed at length back then (even if it didn’t lead to any positive changes), simply comes off as trying to hike a cheap ride on the outrage wave.
And I do? Got a heroic raid this evening and mythic on thursday and sunday? Currently at work so can’t jump in for m+s with guildies.

You’re still just grasping at straws to make an actual argument that isn’t just “i dislike the game so i’ll pull up older articles to bash the company”. I know this is a rather common fad among the disgruntled parts of the wow community but it certainly doesn’t put them in a positive light either.
nice forum pvp, they probably add a system that u can level in forums and if u defend blizzard leave posetive reviews u level up quicker… oh snap they already have that implemnted
WoW is not a therapy season. Its a product. Either you like it or you don’t.
The most ironic part is always those who claim to “hate WoW so much” are the ones who are the most active on the forums. Any mature person could just walk away.
Ah and do you get free gold in-game if you hate 24/7? Any other benefits from hating? Perhaps dental coverage?
