Like Fire mage (not playing it), it had (has?) in DF the sunking blessing. You got after x amount of proc pyroblasts a buff that gave you a combustion of x seconds. But to proc it you had to hard cast a pyroblast. No fire mage would ever hard cast a pyroblast. But you did not get a visual indicator you actually had the proc waiting. So fire mages needed a WA to track when the proc was ready.
I’ll give myself a pass on that because I’m not the one claiming to be a gamer god extraordinaire while never touching anything past LFR and heroic dungeons.
It’s kinda like going to the Overwatch forum and flexing on the noob mouse users that you killed all the bots in the practice range using your touchpad.

I could show you the installer but that’s easy to find online these days. I think whatever I could show you you’d just call it fake.

And not only did you not get a visual indicator, the buff icon indicating it was ready had the same icon and name as the one indicating it was stacking.
AND there was no indicator or sound on your character built in, either.

You literally had no chance. Unless you wanna sit there counting to 8 I suppose, but not really. It was impossible.
Same with Firemind. Looks like another debuff, no indicator, no sound. It was so obnoxious I gave up beta testing DF. Told Blizz about it, they fixed it for Dragonflght a full 2 years later.

We’re (I’m not the only one) doing it because you’re calling good (or at least decent) players bad, which is in fact about your particular perspective on your skill and other people’s skill; so your skill is suddenly relevant to the discussion. You did this, not me.
If you brought an argument that was independent of the relative skill such as how you don’t need it because you can see all the info due to Blizzard having update the UI or something, that’s completely different. In that case I wouldn’t even bother looking this up because then it’s irrelevant; that is an empirical fact.
As for there having been a time where we played without addons - that’s true, but that game was also a game that didn’t need them. I have no need to track Sun King’s Blessing, Tinder, Flamecannon, Firemind, Instant Pyroblast, Clearcasting, Ice Floes, Glorious Incandescence etc. if the game doesn’t have Sun King’s Blessing, Tinder, Flamecannon, Firemind, Instant Pyroblast, Clearcasting, Ice Floes, Glorious Incandescence, etc. - which it didn’t. Well, it had clearcasting but it made a very loud noise when proccing so there was no doubt what it meant and it stood alone and was completely RNG so there was no way to control it.
WoW’s UI was never designed for this proc-o-rama. That’s why we’ve got all these problems with people being compelled to install one weakaura or addon after another. You can choose to ignore this, but if you do you can’t play well. You simply won’t get the information you NEED to do good damage. You have no chance.
Also, the insinuation that I will not interrupt the spell because I’m too busy spending all my GCD’s on damage when Counterspell isn’t on the GCD in the first place is completely and utterly divorced from reality.
Strong disagree, I’ve watched many devs play and they all use weakauras and addons.
All the real top players use weakauras and addons.

There is this thing called Alts? Maybe you have heard of them? This is my timerunner character that i decided to level, hence there being no progress on anything. But congrats on hiding still

Sorry mate but maybe at least show us your main and its mythic/mythic+ progression before you call others bad.

Why yes, I also clear the entirety of LFR on my alts every week while I’m not busy being a living god.
Surely it proved I raided and finished mythic as a guild master?

that might change soon with ai technology . cod and valorant kind games are using ai to now catch cheaters quickly .what they do is they put and make the ai learn the pattern of how pro player plays .
now if it is a cheater who is performing well with his/her cheats .the difference in gameplay and clicks will tell the ai .
with the same concept if the ai is tinkered and is fed the data of pro players from mythic plus dungeons i think it would be achieveable in future .
i think the only question that will remain will be if doing such a thing benefits the game or not .

u see big AF frontasl ? probably need to avoid that
but thats me. most of people i play with in pug m+7 to 10 are just a lazy idiots who want free carry and dgaf about knowing mechanics or dodging them. but the worst sin is when they dont know what their class can do utility wise

but beating m+ smoothly is a fun for me.
delves should be more unforgiving too, they actually teach you to play the game right
Follower dungeons will improve over time. I’m not sure that them being in M+ would be right just yet, but I can see a time where they’re more advanced and give better loot for people that don’t want to M+ with the toxic player-base.
Once we have delves and decent follower dungeons, my time of interacting with the goons that play this game will be over.
