World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.9

Darn.. and I always wanted to be a Blurry .. a Blizzard Furry

Aint gonna lie, funny post. Made me chuckle. Don’t get the rp backlash but, I suppose.

That would be the real joke. Or that they just buffed retribution once again with 25% on it’s finishers and called it been weak, when retri as whole is among top dps of the season in PvP. They were not using PvE templates on buffs if the buffs were meant for PvE.

I was particularly not too amused of the class balancing jokes either considering how well known the poor class balance in seasons are, it’s not very good topic to belittle or player feedbacks from beta either. Class balancing in general would also be one of their jobs with this game and is among one of the most important things they can do in an mmorpg when if not done right it stops people enjoying their classes they would want to play.

Cant have massive overperformers or bottom of the barrel specs like now in a progressive content with fantasy elements. I dont think anyone enjoys their warlock right now in PvP, and yet it would have pretty unique theme which some players would want to play.

The april fools patch notes used to be really funny to read, not anymore. Complete lack of imagination, and not even amusing, far to realistic.

Agree. Honestly I just got offended. And I’m paying for this so. Dont understand the logic behind in offending your customer really. I see belittling real issues which is not particularly funny to me at all.

They stopped caring a long time ago.
We’re just the idiots for still paying

I really hope thats not the case. I’ve payed for over 20 years, half my life for this game and would still wish to continue playing it. Lets hope this is just some I’ll humour or lack of common sense in general. Belittling real issues in the game is not funny and it signals lack of care on the issues.

It is likely because the community team member responsible for writing these jokes is either using AI to generate a list of potential jokes or pulling from older ones they never used, and they are simply cycling through them. The issue is that no one at Blizzard seems to have much of a sense of humor, as they are too preoccupied with other things, which I will not go into because people would start flagging the post as inappropriate. All I will say is that they should agree to stop doing April Fool’s patch notes until they have someone who can actually make people laugh, instead of someone who only laughs at their own jokes.

Whenever April 1st comes around, you already know Blizzard will put out the most dry and unfunny jokes you will see on the internet, while other companies, like the Warhammer team, put out April Fool’s content that actually shows effort and creativity. What Blizzard released this year could have been done better by AI, at least in my opinion.

So this years April Fool was basically “Haha. Look at the silly RPers. Lets make fun of a bunch of Features that the RP community would actually love to see implemented.”

Worst April Fools we’ve ever gotten. This isn’t a joke, it’s a Mockery of the RP community.

That’s a bit lazy.

Extremely based.

Riiiight…

Actually you could implement an “RP instance mode” (or some sort of toggle-able option from char portrait) for dungeons/raids so that they’re essentially empty and we don’t need to clear the place for RP. Thanks!
