When Thrall came trouble started to happen, both Kul’Tirans attacked and Murlocs enhanced by Sea Witch, They were threathening orcs and humans alike, together with elementals and sea monsters.
It’s not that Thrall “saved them” they had to cooperate because they ended up both trapped in Sea Witch prison.
In fact the first thing Sen’Jin reports is that they have - human problem!

there have been many awful moments in this xpac but the worst by far has to be when thrall reappeared. he is to warcraft what poochy is to itchy & scratchy and i hope he dies on the way back to his home planet
also when they wussed out of the faction war and had us work together again. we all saw it coming but it still sucked
