Will this mount be unobtainable of wotlk release on 26th or will it still be obtainable after the pre patch ends?

Although the promotion is likely to have an end date at some point, nothing has been set and it will be available for the foreseeable future.
Blizzard will most likely announce when the drake is going away.

I expect it to be permanent lile the Hearthstone mount.
I think it’s a permanent promo, or rather, until Cata. Imo.
I chose to get it done just in case. Given the uproar about ‘no slime cat for lfr’ I think they wouldn’t pull something similar again though.
