Wow needs a 1v1 bracket NOW!

Hello! I play a lot of wow pvp i have tried most brackets and probably played the most solo shuffle because i liked the idea of a bracket where my personal skill is measured against other players, in theory that is what solo shuffle is. However the reality is not. Only today I have been in 3 lobbies which were impossible for me to win even if i had played at highest possible rank1 level.

2 of the lobbies consisted of obvious win traders where one just ran in and died instantly some rounds and on other rounds played perfectly. The other lobby was a shadowpriest who decided to not play at all after he lost 2 rounds…

This takes away a lot of the fun for me because even if I improve and become better my rating will still tank because of factors i can´t control at all.

Im not asking Blizzard to balance the game around 1v1 I just ask them to add this bracket becuase at least it will only be up to me how good or bad i play and that is really important.

Sure there will be a lot of classes that are hard and others that seem almost impossible but at least its fair in the sense that the games outcome is only up to how well I perform vs my opponent and I will be rewarded for playing well. I would much play vs a hard counter than have the game be deterimed by people who purposely throw the game away to improve their friends rating.

Ofcourse its a ret paladin.

Aw yes, these famous win trades in 1800 lobbies

I really wish they implemented it, just to prove how gravely WoW doesn’t need a 1v1 bracket.

No need to split the 30 people left playing pvp even further.

If you are stuck at rival rating in shuffle it is not due to wintraders. And you wouldn’t be there if you played at rank 1 level lol.

I have three rets, playing like a trashcan and all are above you, including the freshly dinged with the wrong gear. Starting MMR should be around 2k now.

Unpopular opinion: look what you did wrong, always. For example. My 3s mate is 200cr higher with lfg randoms which suggest I make bad plays. You play shuffle ret. Did you sanc? Did you sac? Did you kite melees? Did you Bob or loh you mates? Did you proper cc on the enemy healer?

Shuffle rival is a place where you are stuck if you simply play bad. No one wintrades there because no one needs to.

Which you don’t and never did. I feel you’re lacking self-awareness.

Noone wintrades at 1800.

You can’t distinguish that.

I second that. :stuck_out_tongue:

Lowkey 1 more bracket would probably be the final finishing blow for PvP in general, I am down for it. Especially something as dgsht as 1v1.

This ret is not a charachter I play this season. I have other charachters well above 2k (One was almost 2400k) and they are the ones I speak about so thanks for advice but as i said this ret is not the charachter I play or talk about.

You have shaman on 2.1 with 2200 rounds played, one random peak at 2350 is nothing, if you have bunch of char with hundreds of games locked on 50% winrate on 1800 below starting mmr

comparing 2400 to r1 plays is wild

The ret paladin only bracket.

a 1v1 would be the most suffering thing imaginable given how rat behaviour alot of classes are.

No thanks there’s already enough Ret Paladins running around in pvp.

Nah please. Ret is the most stupid class when it comes 1vs1.

2 bubbles + lay on hands is like fighting boss with 3x health.

?

Yeah, they do.

I had a DPS and a healer from the same guild when I was getting elite set on my paladin queuing late at night. Quite obvious they were wintrading, warrior lost 3 rounds(with him dying due to los/not pressing defensives etc) and then won 3 rounds with his guild member.

Are you gonna try to convince me they didn’t wintrade when he pays attention to los, range and presses defensives etc when with his guild member and just foregoing that when with the other healer? Especially when I checked the DPS, he had several characters of the same class across 1500-2400 rating or so. Checking the characters after a few days the healer had hit 2100, I checked across the characters the DPS had, all the games played added up to be equal to the games the healer had played after the game that I was in.

Are you gonna try to convince me that’s just happenstance when they’re guild members? That healer was most definitely not someone who would get to 2100 alone.

doesnt matter when most guilds are essentially just “Discord servers at home.” these arena forums are more tightly knit and communal than most guilds - especially if its a pvp one.

if the guild has like 27 characters in it then yeah i’ll change my mind

The guild is a mythic raiding guild, where they raid together.

You can’t convince me they’re not wintrading when they queue into each other at 4 am and the DPS has multiple characters that gets additional games played that amount to the same additional games the healer played after the game I was in.

It’s very unlikely a healer like him would even get to 1800 alone. Based on my experience, the other healer should have gone 6-0 or 5-1 or 4-2, if it was a normal lobby.

ah fair enough then

?

No they don’t. Your example is a one in a million. It’s not the rule.

?

It’s statistically very unlikely that it’s only those 2 that are doing it. It happens more often than one in a million, that’s for sure. You said noone does it at 1800.

People cheating systems or exploiting or just plain out hacking exist on all levels in multiplayer games(and single player games but it doesn’t matter much there because they’re only cheating themselves of the experience), it’s not something that’s exclusive to the top ratings or even rated gamemodes.
