Wow's biggest problems

It’s worse now.

No, that’s what it is.

I did! I would love to have the game play come back into Modern WoW.

Adding a timer adds stress, it raises blood pressure and makes people angry when it looks like a timer might not be made.

That angry guy might not be you. But that is one of the major causes of Toxicity in M+.

And that’s what I thought when I first started doing it. I stopped raiding a long time ago, and it was nice to have a way to gear up with having to raid.

But when I look back at what the game has lost because of the way M+ has been implemented. I realise the game was better with out it.

And that is where I know you’re playing the wrong game. WoW’s world content was what made it popular. It’s long and in-depth storylines in its indulgent and huge World, is why the game became popular.

Anyway. I’m tired of your arguments. I don’t really think you’ve brought anything constructive here. So I’m sticking you on Mute for 48 hours, so I can concentrate on getting on with my work rather than arguing with someone who clearly hasn’t got a clue about anything.

See ya.

Doesn’t matter whether you’re in a community or not. This is still a thing.

you’re part of a community aren’t you? Means I might bump into toxic players like you.

Or maybe you’re the one playing the wrong game? Maybe a single-player RPG with co-op capability would be more suited for what you want.

Who said anything about playing a Single Player RPG?

I’m a WoW player since 2005 thank you very much. I deserve to have my say in this game. And I certainly don’t deserve to have trolls like you telling me I’ve been playing the wrong game for 17 years.

I just recognise the game has seen better days and I’m pushing for them to re-implement some of those better philosophies.

You’re complaining about the community aspects constantly, lol. Like, that’s almost every post I see from you, complaining about the community aspects, in a mmorpg.

I’m complaining about Toxic Elitist Trolls and how the game (and yourself) is currently promoting it! I’m not complaining about Community activities.

You’re most certainly complaining about the community aspects of the game. Splitting hairs doesn’t make a difference.

That’s not what I’m complaining about at all.

I pointing out that the focus on Esports in the Game and the shift away from Adventure is what’s ruined the game.

Nothing to do with community, other than Esports promotes a more Toxic environment for players.

I just don’t think you really know what I’m trying to point out. I think you’re just arguing with me for the sake of arguing.

“waah, toxic elitists!!!” sums up most of your posts to be fair. You’re angry because people won’t play like you want them to.

Because you can’t be bothered to read them. You’re not interested in understanding someone else point of view because:

So back at you!

I want the game to become less separatists and more inclusive and more accessible to all players. You seem to be trying to push it all apart.

I do read them and they almost all boil down to “waahhhh, toxic!! elitists!!”.

Maybe you should read something into that then. Because that’s what you’re coming across as.

I just keep reporting you for everytime you call me toxic. You are the one here who keeps insulting people.

The community i am in a helping community for new, returning players or people who are not really pushing or who want to learn. It is very chill without any requirements for getting into keys. We wipe a lot, laugh a lot, try again a lot and have fun. And yes, a lot of keys are not getting timed. Who cares.

It’s not an improvement. It’s a massive downgrade.

Removing abilities by itself I wouldn’t recommend. It would be in combination with making each class more unique and more punchy, with abilities having a greater impact. More work put into synergy between abilities and more imagination into their effects would be great.

Playing with other people is what Wow is founded on. I understand those who wish to play by themselves (in which case I might suggest they would find an increase in the challenge of the overworld more rewarding) but the current dynamic of join dungeon with random people, then leave never having spoken a word to them is what you get when you play with strangers, not friends. I played with friends early in wow, some in-game, some in real life, and had a lot more fun discovering the world and spending time doing multiple different things together. It’s the loss of that I lament.

It’s probably unavoidable that some people will approach the game in a more elitist way. I don’t necessarily think there’s anything wrong with having a higher echelon to PVE / PVP for those that want it. I just would prefer there was less complexity / fewer systems to getting stuck into something I might not have much experience with PVE or PVP wise. The problem is the entirety of casual PvP (and to a certain extent PvE) is gear dependent. Both should be more accessible and less gear-dependent (except for you elitists out there who want that - higher tier engagements for you then :D). And for the loners and friendless out there, I’d suggest a 1v1 arena option (which I’d make use of). Yeah yeah yeah “but game’s not balanced around 1v1” it’s not balanced period. This kind of thing is just Blizzard’s work - a job they have to do to get the game fixed right.

Well I’ve never seen you bring anything to a conversation which isn’t completely destructive to the game.

You’re actively encouraging toxic behaviour, and you continuously fail to see things from someone else’s point of view.

The worst part is, in the past I have reported you for your behaviour and had you on Ignore for months on end, and you are still to this day responding to me, or if not responding to me, you’re bad mouthing me to other players. Just because I see the game differently to you.

You can’t understand how what you do in the game and the way you play the game and how Blizz is developing these aspects of the game is bad for the game over all!

It’s just disgraceful that you support the downfall of this game.

Another report. You just keep insulting me and spreading lies :man_shrugging:

No lies. No insults.

If anything I’m saying is insulting to you, maybe you should look at what I’m saying and try and grasp why I find certain made modes and Philosophies in the game as destructive.

Look at it from the World of Warcraft players point of view. The one who enjoys playing World of Warcraft as it has always been.

Then read this:

So putting aside that this is an example of you bad mouthing me to another player.

I want to highlight, that what you describe about Set Up Pulls and Coordinated CC is something I used to enjoy doing at Heroic level. So why do I have to wait until “+30” to be able to do that kind of game play?

Now the Timer is there, but the Mobs/Bosses have high HPs, so take longer to kill. Therefore bringing the timer as a factor. Why not just remove the time and take that unnecessary stress away.

Now as much as I love Dungeons. Yes, 5 Man Dungeons have always been my favourite part of WoW. I also enjoy engaging World content and the more linear game that WoW once was.

I want Dungeons, PVP and Raiding to be all part of the experience like it used to be. Not the ONLY experience like players like yourself are pushing for.

Maybe, just maybe, look outside the box for a change. And don’t report people for a different opinion to your own.

And if you don’t like it, put me on Ignore, stop responding to my posts and stop bad mouthing me to other people on the forum!

Yes i keep reporting you since you spread lies and are only insulting. And you are the one who can not look outside of the box and has any idea what i do in and outside of the game and what i enjoy.

If i have to quote everytime you called people who enjoy M+ elitist and toxic i am not done till next year. Just for enjoying a game mode.

I enjoy M+. I’ve said that in this very thread! So why would I call myself Elitist and Toxic.

But I’m also saying that M+ is having a destructive affect on the game as a whole. And one of those effects is that it promotes Elitism and Toxicity in the the game.

However, Blizzard realises that having this endless style of gaming to keep players occupied, means that they can get away with adding less content on a less regular basis. Because players are too busy repeating the same Dungeons over and over to notice that the rest of the game is non-existent.

Then they reward players with pointless Titles for pushing as far as they can.

Zereth Mortis for example lasted no more than 3-4 weeks before it was finished. Yet the current Season has been 14 weeks, and has at least another 8-9 weeks to go before the next Season Starts… with Zero new world content being added. Granted 9.2.5 release came with 3 quests lines which lasted 20 mins each. 3 Questlines which could have been padded out and made to last a lot longer.

Now, if Blizzard could return to the days where it would release a patch that could keep me occupied with the World Content… or even any fun and engaging content, to the same duration as a Whole M+ or PVP Season, then I wouldn’t be complaining so much.

If you’re supporting Blizzard for adding further push goals in M+ (like Titles and Portals etc), then you’re just as bad as Blizzard neglecting their players.
