On a more serious note, merging all the recolor races into their base-game alternatives as customization options. That Lightforged warrant an entirely new race while Man’ari do not, is beyond stupid.
Rather than new races - more customization. Satyr legs for night elves, Feltotem horns for tauren, Felborne skin for Nightborne, a Mok’nathal face for orcs, sunfury skins for blood elves. Etc, etc, etc.

Adding on an example quickly.
Dracthyr barely had much added to them since their introduction. But at least they got a whole expansion that sorta kept things going. Even tying in a 3rd spec for them at the time.
Earthern were relevant for 2 zones before they were discarded. Have they even been relevant since Hallowfall beyond just showing up here or there with barely much said?
Wasted.
We don’t need more races when the current ones need more spotlight.
Drakonids would be a 
option as a playable race. Of course they’ll never be introduced on account of the dracthyr but this thread’s about what I want not what I think is likely

I want to be able to use body 1 worgen on a body 2 human model. My ideal allied race is worgen but customizable.
Also furbolg.
NElf models for Worgen is also a customisation I think’d be cool.

I think we really need ogres and broken for the roster to be complete.
But outside of that, I really wish we would just get more customization options for the baseline races. It’s ridiculous that most Horde males can’t even have beards and that female rock dwarves got them before male orcs (even though one of the most prominent orc characters in WoW rocked a permanent 5’o’clock shadow)
It sucks that they keep releasing new races that have 10x the customizations of the older ones, even if they use the same bloody skeleton. Like how male blood elves have, like, one viable option for short hair, and only 3 beards. Meanwhile male Dracthyr have 12 and you can put your hair in several different tones.

I don’t really have wishes, but thought the Harronir would be the next Allied Race. I sadly have the feeling, that Allied Races are some sort of hype (not even all of them) the moment they come out and then it slowly dies down again and I wish they’d be more integrated in the stories.
More than a new race, I’d wish for more customisations for the existing races. Hairstyles, hair colours, eye colours, ear varieties for different races, fur colours…
Broken and ogres aside, the earliest idea of an allied race was implemented in Pandaria. Sure, hozen would need a lot of adjustment mechanic-wise, but them and the Jinyu were represented exactly as the allied races to the faction war efforts (which brought them little good, but that’s another concern). Also, neutral tuskarr. The perfect material for adventurers, a simple spiritualistic folk, they’d get along with the Pandaren vibes extremely well.

I bet we will get the Haranir next, or Ethernals.
I just hope it wont be annother Elf, Human or Dwarf reskin, we seriously have MORE then enough of those!
A race that can wear clothes at least.
But Ogres, always Ogres.
The fact the Horde got BLOOD ELVES before Ogres still bothers me to this day.
