You can tell that wow eu is dead

Its nice to go in the forums in the mornings. It isn’t a place to live.
I find it much more interesting than reading RL newspapers TBH.
There are many regulars. A nice bunch mostly . few likeable rogues in there to for good measure.

The one thing about the forums I do not like is that it has become complain central, even I have been corrupted by it once or twice.

The EU forum seems mega quiet compared to US forum, that’s for sure. But like said above, we have a german/spanish/french/russian etc forums. I look at the class forums a lot, they are extremely dead on here. Can go days without a single post, far busier on the US side.

The general lack of outrage outside the of few usual suspects posting kind of proves my point really
Love you all x

That is because the game is so good most players don’t have time to post on the forums due to being busy ingame.

Oh look an armchair expert talking hot air. You ever bothered to look at the realm population list and your see the game is in rude health so please maybe you could look into your all knowing crystal ball and tell me what the next Euro Millions jackpot numbers are when it’s £100m plus. What oh you can’t tell me that then why are you telling me this when the hard numbers say other wise.

Have a good evening.

The game is old, most of us playing hop and off of the game and gear treadmill every so often and invariably come back to have a look every so often.

I’d say very few played straight through for 10+ years without a break, real life, and eventual boredom get in the way.

WOW will be around for a decade to come at least because of Xpac sales and players like me will take breaks and still buy xpacs, that is where it is at right now.

I gave most of the last few weeks playing either new content in LOTRO or working late with my businesses (I own three companies). I’ll play some of the next patch but I don’t think I’ll last much longer without a long break due to being busy in real life. But Blizzard will get more of my money in 9.0

Four to go yet

Been playing solidly for 11 years now not been off much save when I’ve been busy nor have I ever cancelled my subscription either. I’ll be with the game as long as it exists. Because it has been a huge escape for me and loved secondary worlds from novels and so on this is just one to get lost in to me and never been anything else other than a massive digital adventure.

I might not have been playing from the word go but I am not leaving till they call it a day. Too much invested time and money wise to do that. I also meant my post in humour not wanting to have people misread it because these posts have cropped up on all the forums I have been on with the game and they make me laugh because it’s all complete crap when the game is doing just fine as the silent majority the ones who play the game and never come here to bemoan it are happy with it.

Yeah sure it’s got it’s issues but over all it’s done a lot of things a lot of publishers dream of and that’s the real hard success of WoW.

and it has been like this forever.

if you been around for a while you would know it.

I personally tried to be active and join the community here but my Satyr Allied Race topic was sabotaged by forum mafia and instead of trying to protect my thread, first I was banned for 2 days for a ridicilous reason then thread got locked because of saboteurs, mods just locked my thread instead of protecting it from trolls.

So this place is unworthy of serious attention and effort, I stopped creating new content here because of that unpleasant experience, there is no point in trying to participate the forum community considering my experience here. I will just post once or twice every week just like last week.

This forum cannot be a good place for interactions and enjoyable debates unless mods do their jobs properly. Whenever they see a problem under a topic they just lock it rofl, don’t know if they are all the same but whatever…

Tbh if you look at just about any game forum it’s the same deal; The reason you see regular forum users posting a lot is because… well… they’re regulars.

You’ve also got to take into account sites like Wowhead - The bulk of posts on most game forums are people asking how to do something in-game; Since mechanically Wow is a pretty simple game to play, that normally boils down to specific problems with specific quests. In that case, Wowhead and co. are just more useful sites than posting on the forums so they get that traffic more than we do here.

Yeah very few people use wow official forums so can’t really judge overall active playerbase on that.

Even mmo champ and iceyveins have more visitors than wow official forums.

Does it matter? Forums are still fun to play.

I’ve played WoW since Classic and never really got involved with the forums, unless I needed to look something up. Hell, I’ve only started to get ‘active’ on them in the past two weeks. And that has led to a sum total of… 111 (now 112) posts? The game is doing fine, the forum activity is a poor metric to measure it by.

The standard response from someone who decides they no longer like a game.

If they don’t like it then it must be dying.

So bored of it now. People have been claiming it since the announcement of TBC

You can tell that the forums here are dead. I almost never go here, but to Wowhead when I got a problem. I think this is my 2nd visit in 6 months. So no, after the new forums were launched, forum activity declined sharply. That does not imply WoW is dying. I suppose WoW is ailing what with more and more so-called QoL improvements makilng levelling and achievements more of a joke, But dying? not yet, and Classic migth save it.

How about you just stop following me and posting in the threads I comment on because you did NOT like me telling you the truth about your idea and why it was not going to work and move on. I have moved on and I would suggest Hubris you do not keep tracking my movements or replies on other people’'s threads.

This is my FINAL response to you. Thank you.
