Maybe it’s not a case of catch-up being too slow but rather you are going too fast and trying to skip parts of it?
Have you queued for Heroic Dungeons on the Dungeon Finder? That drops 415. Mythics then drop 430 which can be augmented by Visions and Invasion drops.
Which do you think takes longer - finishing a jar of mayo or gearing up to ilvl 400+? Now’s the time to challenge the OP to a race!

well, I’m out here drinking eristoff waiting for my friend to leave her apartment so I can finally go partying.

That sounds amazing, except I gave up bacon 25 years ago when I stopped eating meat. I could substitute Quorn Sausage for bacon, but there seems to be a global shortage of them at the moment (or at least a local shortage where I live).

Well anything really that can seal in the egg and mayo alongside the cheesy “shell”. Are dairy and poultry products ok? Or is it just vegetarian you are going for?
Here’s an idea… be in a guild. Plenty of guilds with lesser geared people than what PUGs demand that do M+/Raid, even for a fresh 120. If those players can get their fresh 120 to ilvl 450+ within a few days, what’s stopping YOU?

I’m a 90s vegetarian, which means I eat free-range dairy and started eating fish again even though it kinda goes against my principles.
Oh, and I wear leather shoes and belts on the basis that the cows were going to be killed anyway (sorry cows).

Ah, fair enough. I think the term is pescatarian? No meat bar fish meat. And yeah, just blame all the selfish carnivores for killing the poor tauren cows and how it’s up to make the rest of the stuff not go to waste! ^^
Yeah, pescatarian is what I am I suppose. I generally don’t make a big deal out of it these days - pescatarians are stuck between the mockery of meat-eaters and the moral superiority of vegans.

there are other ways to get gear like checking your mission board for peals and gear but that considerably slower considering you want gear fast as others have said much more viable faster ways to get gear.
what about fries and gravy? (poutine)
