I just dinged 120 on my warlock and did a few world quests that rewarded gear while queuing for dungeons and he is now ready for the first lfr. Just do that and island expeditions.
The only thing I accept is other things being eaten with fries.

The trick is to dip the chip in mayo, then quickly dip it in the curry sauce and eat it before the mayo heats up too much and falls off.

what are you talking about? I started on a new server about 3 Weeks ago, leveled a new character and i’m now at 451 Itemlevel and have around 150k Gold with ~3 days of playtime.
It’s hard to get into raids, but everything else is possible.
ps. I didn’t have a guild or help to gear my char to this level, and i did neither raids above LFR nor many dungeons. Aditionally there was just 1 daily chest with a gear reward.
I can’t understand why people say English cuisine is unrefined

There are plenty of ways to gear up. Nazjatar gives you a free weapon and 385 gear in every slot with little effort, and then world quests start scaling up. It’s obviously quicker if you can send stuff over from your main, but it’s not like it’s impossible to gear up in a reasonable amount of time without those.
