Who’s your favorite Dragon aspect? And why?

The aspects are:

Neltharion, the Earthwarder, later known as Deathwing, former aspect of earth, later aspect of Death

I was always very partial to Nozdormu, mainly because of how mysterious he was and how he always seemed to be absent and yet somehow present. I wasn’t really satisfied with his storyline in Cataclysm, but there is still hope that the bronzies might see some more action.

I do have a soft spot for Malygos though as the aspect driven mad by what his brother had done to him and his flight generations ago. Shame he had to die :frowning:

i can’t lie, i did shed a smol tear with Ysera kicking the bucket (#spoilers of a 3 year old expansion)

i never really followed the aspects’ stories, but i had a soft spot for Ysera, probably because she was heavily aligned with the nelves.

This is a true telling. That cinematic was heart breaking.

Ysera used to be one of my favourites, but I kind of hated how sexy they made her and Alexstrasza when they came to make their models. I’d always imagined them both as looking so much different. The humanoid models I mean, not the dragon models … although … :sweat_smile:

That also bothered me greatly… There’s no real reason for them to be ‘sexified’ other than for fanservice purposes. I can -maybe- let Alexstraza’s appearence slide given A: She’s the Aspect of Life and looking attractive is supposed to aid that and B: Her humanoid form is similar to Blood Elves who take great pride in their outward appearence.

Ysera being sexified, though, makes no sense to me. Even if people make the argument of “But it’s what the Night Elves wear for combat!”. No. There’s no need for a sleepy dream dragon to be wearing a s**tmog.

Nozdormu. It talks a ballsy dude to see his own death and stop himself from going full Anakin Skywalker by letting people kill him.

My favorite has got to be Nozdormu, although Ysera does come second.

Malygos, because not only was he right, but he did nothing wrong and was enforcing the task trusted to him by the titans.

Players & Wyrmrest accord were 100% in the wrong for having him killed.

Fave is that one with the total lack of pants very cool

also deathwing’s human form looks kinda like nathanos just sayin

lets not forget the time Alex, Ysera and sylvanas (for some reason) all shared the same model and level of skimp.
I can excuse the dragons, mainly because they are alive but don’t sexifiy the corpse.

I’d say that this proves that Deathwing never actually died and is back to his old tricks of manipulating courts and pulling the strings in the Undercity, but Nathanos could never be accused of anything even close to manipulation by virtue of being lap dog of the year.

I also don’t think, in case Nathanos was deathwing, that he would be so hostile to everyone, minus his mistress when she gimps him around ofc.

it is hard to charm your way around when you take every chance you have to insult those around you while doing little to nothing yourself.

Always had a soft spot for Ysera and that was fortified further by her death. I feel sad each time I see the cinematic.

I always liked Malygos and his whole story. Being betrayed by his friend, seeing his people die, becoming depressed and withdrawn. Going from a cheerful and wise dragon, to a saddened hermit who lives in his own pocket dimension.
