Your favorite Dragon aspect?

Now i hate Wrathion lol

Eventually, Wrathion revealed himself to be working with Kairozdormu and the Infinite Dragonflight to free Garrosh and send him back in time to the Draenor of thirty-five years ago.

…Wrathion knocked Anduin out and took his leave. Despite his actions, Wrathion believed this would be best for Azeroth in the coming conflict with the Legion, and maintained hope that Anduin would eventually understand his motives and even stand with him as a brother when the time comes.

This is from the book ‘‘War Crimes’’.

Okay Nozdormu isn’t my favourite any more.

I completely forgot Wrathion was the best.

Wrathion allied with Kairoz as the duo wanted to forge a super-orc army to be released against the Burning Legion.
Kairoz had a similar idea, but it isn’t clear if he was doing it for the sake of Azeroth or just for his own vainglorious projects.

There is much more we could quote that was preparing Wrathion as a main character against the Legion, but eventually it was all retconned/disregarded in Legion.

Completely agree with you there. I mean Legion was good, but the lack of Wrathion was an huge disappointment!

Literally the best thing with Legion.

If that little sh*t showed up, I better have been allowed to beat his butt for actually causing the Legion to appear sooner than they would’ve otherwise!

EDIT: Would’ve been better if Legion came after Siege of Orgrimmar, instead of after Warlords of Draenor (which was originally the case, but they changed it before actually starting the work on either).

Back on track: My favorite Dragon Aspect is Zul.

Thrall.

Tell me I’m wrong.

The aspects are a cool idea conceptually but never felt right. I’d rather they were titan constructs, demigods forged to their tasks. The dragons of Warcraft could have been something different but still cool, uplifted like the elves via the well of eternity and having their own powerful society on the dragon isles, meddling with or aiding the factions as they do for various reasons of byzantine politics.

Please no. I hate Blizzard’s approach that “Everything is Titan stuff”

I don’t really have a favorite. But I do have one that I don’t like. Kalecgos.

Azuregos for Aspect 2020!

Excepting the byzantine politics part isn’t the exactly what they are? They were creatures uplifted by the Titans, and the aspects were effectively made demigods forged to their tasks.

I prefer the dragonflights as they are/were. Each flight is given a domain they are tasked with maintaining and operate in the background. I did prefer them when they were much more elusive, I feel like Cataclysm in particular made them a little bit too common place and in your face. WotLK certainly started this process though.

I do also feel like the dragonflights could benefit from being a little smaller, instead of hundreds if not thousands of nameless dragons and drakes, a smaller number would make them more mysterious and more impactful when you see them.

Yes, I just think that the keeper construct concept is a much better fit for their role and I’d rather see the Dragons as kind of their own faction of powerful, mystical and magical creatures who meddle in mortal affairs for both good and ill.

Probably Alextrazsa. I have more feelings with this flight.

The Legion was never intended to come after MoP. Before working on WoD, Blizzard was considering a plot where Garrosh would escape and make the Mongrel Horde.

It just says how well-executed it felt; to have the Legion as a looming and yet distant threat.

I’m personally really disappointed in it, as in the cinematic she was a regular thin looking elf (with horns), and then in the game itself she all of a sudden became thic as hell? Like, what?

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind it that much. Just a peeve.

I also think her face looks stupid (at least with her standard coloring, because it’s weird looking, otherwise its fine.)
