As I suspected, little of what the Shen’dralar collected in their archives survived their flight from Eldre’thalas. Still, there was some knowledge to be gleaned from the tomes they were forced to leave behind as they escaped the Horde’s aggression. References to the Old Gods are vague and oblique, existing only as archaeological footnotes from a time before the Sundering. Even the Shen’dralar, adept in the arcane arts as they were, could not completely unravel the intricacies of the Black Empire’s dark magic. Yet a few of them did dabble in the Void, and the lessons they learned grant me hope that N’Zoth’s own power can be wielded against him. Even in its abandoned state, the library’s meticulous organization truly impressed me. If only more of it had remained intact. Such an extensive loss of wisdom is lamentable. The Shen’dralar toiled ceaselessly to collect the librams that lined their bookshelves, only for the lion’s share of it to be consumed by the flames of war.

But such is the nature of warfare, is it not? Seldom does it accomplish the intentions of its architects, and never without leaving immeasurable devastation in its wake… especially when the Horde and the Alliance are the forces in conflict. Can one ultimately say that victory is worth the price that must be paid to achieve it? Perhaps it is, in some cases. But the verdict is not as easily reached as I once thought.

For all the time I have spent in Pandaria, only recently did I make acquaintance with the Lorewalkers. The sheer volume of knowledge to be found within their scrolls was marvelous to behold. Lorewalker Cho taught me much about the legends of the Black Empire. He can be… shall we say… long-winded at times, but the wisdom he can impart upon those with the patience to listen is valuable indeed. The Shado-Pan, in contrast, have little time for conversations not directly related to the defense of the pandaren. Their Omnia scholars have accumulated centuries of practical expertise in combatting the dark powers of the sha without succumbing to their influence. Given that the sha originated from the essence of Y’Shaarj, the underlying principles of their techniques could prove effective in resisting the whispers of the Old Gods.

I must admit, I felt a certain kinship with the Shado-Pan that I did not anticipate. The pandaren do not maintain a standing army, and so the Shado-Pan serve as their sole defense against both the mantid and the sha. Though they have trained themselves to seal away their emotions, there is an air of solitude about them that I recognize all too well. It is no easy task to stand alone against the darkness so that others may bask in the light. But someone must always make that stand. And they can never allow themselves to falter.

Few mysteries intrigue me more than the lost knowledge and technology left behind by the titans. The zeal with which I pursued their secrets in the past may have bordered on excess, but the quest in and of itself is one that must be continued. I know for certain that the Forge of Origination is the key to dealing the Old Gods their ultimate defeat, though I have not yet been able to discern the exact manner in which it is meant to be used. My hope was that the Vault of Archavon would hold the answers I seek. Unfortunately, though the Vault contained much material for me to study, the giants who make it their home were… less than cordial to me upon my arrival. I cannot say I blame them, given their previous encounters with “visitors” from the Alliance and the Horde.

It is strange to think on how those events predate my own hatching. While I plumb the depths of forgotten lore from eons past, others have lived through crises I will only ever know from historical accounts. There must be someone on Azeroth who possesses the understanding I require, and perhaps my next course of action should be to seek them out. $B$BA pity the former Aspects are so reluctant to trust me. Even after all my research, their familiarity with the titans’ handiwork surely eclipses my own. But given the troubled history of my dragonflight… of Deathwing, Onyxia, Nefarian… and myself… I cannot say I blame them, either.

It is impossible to set eyes upon Karazhan without reflecting on the dark saga of its master. As befitting his title, the Last Guardian of Tirisfal had amassed a vast collection of writings and artifacts that dwarfs even that of the Kirin Tor. The insight I gained from the tower’s library allowed me to reach a significant milestone: I have concocted a tonic that, when imbibed, will cleanse a minor amount of the Old Gods’ corruption and silence their whispers. Such is merely the first step on the path to defeating them once and for all, but it warrants celebration, nonetheless.

Though I knew there were valuable lessons to learn in Karazhan, I did not anticipate that some of them would emerge from my conversations with Medivh’s lingering spirit. He recounted his struggles under Sargeras’s influence as the dark titan twisted his soul from within, and I was left to wonder if similar thoughts plagued Neltharion as he descended into madness himself. But Medivh also spoke of his spirit’s return to the mortal realm, and how it guided Azeroth’s champions in the fight against the very forces that once corrupted him. He said something on which I ruminate even now: “I can never change the actions of my past,” he told me, "but I can forge a new legacy to leave behind.

A new legacy. In the end, perhaps that is what I am truly after. A way to make amends for my father’s failings… as well as my own. A legacy worthy of the black dragonflight’s original sacred charge: the defense of Azeroth. The end of the Old Gods. I do hope these pages have proven to be of use to you, $n. I would hate to think my agents wasted their time delivering them to you as instructed. Rest assured that when the time is right, you will have my aid in the fight against N’Zoth. Mi opinion: Tras leerlo me gusta mucho el rumbo que toma esto y mi vision negativa sobre el lore de la expansion podria limpiarse un poco si, como parece, lo arreglan un poco de cara al final.

Eso si, me parece interesante que nombre así de gratuitamente a los Shen’dralar. Parece que la teoria de Eldre’thalas como nueva capítal kaldorei coge fuerza.

Bien,una vez leído(anda que no podía haber visto el link de altertime antes que lo he traducido tó XD)vamos al lío.
Así que Wrathion quiere redimir al vuelo negro buscando la forma de terminar con los dioses antiguos.Se ha tirao pateando Shendrallar,Karazhan,Pandaria,Archavon…y no ha descubierto nada o apenas nada.
Por partes:
Mencionar a los Shendralar no lo veo ligado a que Eldre´thalas sea el nuevo hogar de los kaldorei,pero si algo eran …era eruditos y estudiosos,tiene lógica que el príncipe negro empezase buscando allí y más teniendo en cuenta que por lore está abandonado.(Es horrible no lo quiero de ciudad para los nuestros,lo siento Perothvius…tu hogar es feooooooooooo)
Como Wrathion se ha saltado los resguardos de Karazhan…ejem…ejem…Blizzard.Y no menciona haber encontrado a Khadgar que se supone que se recluyó allí cuando tras el espadazo nos volvimos a pegar de tortas.Y tampoco es que Medivh le diga nada relevante.Una poción que parece disminuir los susurros o sus efectos tampoco es que sea el gran descubrimiento.
Archavón…que recuerdos,me daba hasta pena pegarles a los guardianes cuando leí su diario.
No se porqué veo a Wrathion like Illidan buscando redención,veremos si el resto de los vuelos lo ayuda pero a priori no veo nada que nos vaya a ayudar contra N´zoth.
Lo que si…es que en principio parece confirmar que al final será el pulpo el boss final y nos quedaremos sin Imperio negro como próxima expansión a menos que se largue a 1 de vida o nos la vuelvan a jugar el y Azshara y levantemos el Imperio Negro sin queriendo quedando otra vez de panolis.

No he querido spoilearme a saco pq lo mismo los diarios es de lo poco con chicha real que nos trae el parche y prefiero reservar. He visto la primera parte eso si, y la cosa promete bastante.

Pues no se que decirte…casi prefiero asaltar Orgrimmar por segunda vez a quedarnos sin Imperio Negro…o sea terminar esta expansion que hasta ahora ha pasado con más pena que gloria y tener una 9.0 como Elune manda.
Pero si quiero ver que pasa con la Sylvi…como se salga de rositas…

Yo no, por el amor de dios, esto haria que la expansion no fuese mop2 aunque fuese justo al final.
Yo tambien quiero una exp del imperio negro pero visto lo visto los dioses antiguos siempre seran una tematica de fondo/relleno en el wow
La apertura de Ahn Qiraj fue una pasada,Ulduar como raid es de las mejores del juego…pero son raids “menores” y aún así tienen mucha epicidad.
Donde y cómo raidear a N´zoth para que Blizzard no nos deje con ese regusto amargo de no tener una expansión entera sobre el imperio Negro y los dioses antiguos…no va a ser nada fácil.
O sea el 8.3 tendría que ser una pasada con Nyalotha saliendo de las aguas,etc etc etc…y raidear a N´zoth…en…un palacio enorme…otra vez?
Mmmm no se.
Sigo prefiriendo pegarle a Sylvanas hasta en el carnet y hacer una expansión nueva con el pulpo como boss final.
Sinceramente, a mi me cuesta creer que la cebada de trabuco que se ha gastado Blizzard con todo este tema, con susurros expansiones atrás, y tramas que parecen ir ligadas a Nzoth al 99% de probabilidades se lo cepillen todo en un parche.
“Pero es que lo mismo paso en Argus” Si, pero no. La Legión ya iba quemadita como temática, por mucho que no me pareciera bien el parche de Argus peor me hubiera parecido comerme una expansión en Argus tras Legión y los primeros coletazos del final de WoD.
Aunque Nzoth sea el boss final no creo que sea derrotado definitivamente.
Pues si lo es, es la primera muestra de que puedes artificialmente evitar el influjo del vacio en la mente.
Eso tiene muchas implicaciones
Se comio el kokoro de Lei shen que tenia el poder cedido por los titanes tras su muerte de Raden…
Lo que no sabes esque despues de:
Archavon,el vigia de piedra.
Emalon,el vigia de la tormenta.
Koralon,el vigia de la llama.
Toravon,el vigia de hielo.
Quedaba un boss secreto…que solo saldria en caso de que Azeroth estuviera en peligro.Y es ni mas ni menos que…
Chorizon,el vigia Iberico.
Hablando del diario y las misiones.Pues parece que algunos leaks tenian razon(con tantos alguno tenia que acertar xD)
Me gusta que Wrathion tire mas por ese camino y no por el tipico villano random.
Creeis que el imperio negro terminara en BFA? Yo creo que justo lo contrario,el final de BFA sera el inicio del resurgir del Imperio.La verdad me gustaria mucho que renacieran todos los dioses antiguos e iniciaran un ataque mundial de verdad(No como la Legion) teniendo frentes abiertos en todo Azeroth.Recuperando personajes perdidos de expansiones pasadas y creando la sensacion “miedo” real.

Shen’dralar … igual no tiene nada que ver, pero que la mencionen conociendo a Blizzard que siempre sueltan spoilers entre lineas en todas las expansiones … me alegraría mucho la verdad.
No sé yo veo bastante logico que hagan un frente en Orgimmar (no raid) y otro en Ventormenta, Sylvanas y Nathanos es de las cosas que mas desean.
Olvidamos a Xal’atath y el misterio que la rodea, N’zoth fácilmente puede ser el boss final de la expansión para abrir algo mas tocho en la siguiente expansión, N’Zoth no es de los mas poderosos asi que no lo vería tan descabellado.
Xal’atath es algo más allá de los dioses antiguos, está más relacionada con los Señores del Vacío, sus amos, no me extrañaría que fuese una entidad puente entre los Dioses Antiguos y los Señores del Vacío, algo que está en medio
Como tenga que asaltar otra vez Orgrimar y encima llevada de la mano de Thrall me voy a decepcionar mucho. Se supone que es la horda la agresiva y al final es la unica que no asedia ciudades (vale, las quema), pero no disfrutamos del momento de entrar en una cuidad y hostigar a la alianza.
Todo lo de Wrathion es interesante, lo que dara pie a la siguiente expansion, esta bien, pero para “arreglar” todo lo que han liado en esta expansion lo tienen complicado, por lo menos por mi parte, ademas de que dejaran muchos cosas abiertas porque no sabran ni como cerrarlas. Imagino que esto mismo le pasara a muchos jugadores, nada de lo que vayan a idear va a contentar a todo el mundo, al menos a los que nos gusta la historia.
En fin veremos poco a poco lo que nos tienen preparado.
¿Mencionan a los pandaren en la historia fuera de Pandaria aunque sea de pasada…? No me lo creo…

Pues hay más en el ptr han sacado a toda la gente de las embajadas y han dejado solo a Ji y Aysa en realidad tiene sentido más de la mitad de personajes no están ahí ya(cringris y Jaina en Kul tiras, rokhan,eitrigg y gallywyx en Zandalar, Baine escondido, Mekkatorque cubiteado, Tyrande por costa oscura, velen vegetando etc…)
Sí, me fijé, bueno, siguen teniendo 0 importancia en la historia( a no ser que hagan algo ahora que tienen ese puesto), pero al menos les han dado ALGO, no están ahí y… Ya, existen por existir. Tiene sentido que los pandaren hagan de embajadores con nuevos miembros de las facciones.

Y ademas les da bastante importancia,los pone como ejemplo de como combatir al Vacio…asi que no seria raro que en la siguiente expan vieramos a gente del shadopan por las zonas nuevas.

N’zoth siendo el boss final de esta exp no tiene por qué implicar que no va a haber imperio negro en la siguiente

Un detalle que me parece interesante, es que se confirma quien puso fin de forma “canon” a las mazmorras de la Masacre.
Respecto al resto, pinta interesante. Aunque es un poco raro que cambien el foco de Wrathion de la Legión a los Dioses Antiguos.
Y también un poco extraño el tema de que se lleve tan bien con Ebyssian, cuando hasta ahora había tenido tolerancia cero con cualquier miembro de su familia que se viese aunque fuera ligeramente infectado por los susurros.
Espero que su nuevo papel aclare temas pendientes. Como porque intento crear la Horda de Hierro junto con Kairoz.
