I lost connection when I played a open queue game just now it took around 2 min to reconnect and we managed to win still (because I luckily were able to reconnect otherwise we would have lost (its been route66 and the enemy team pushed it almost to the second checkpoint by the time I came back (with bunker)) and I received for that game a loss and the win so out of 3 placements I supposedly played 4 games now. And got a suspension of some time I dont know how long since when the game was over I only had 30ish seconds on that. I feel like it would be better if your team would get like an prompt to decide if you deserve a penalty or not if the countdown is through. Because when I rejoined I immediately apologized and they were so kind and understanding. I feel like I dont deserve the loss there, especially since it wasnt my fault, if we lost even after reconnecting I see why I would get a penalty (even tho other games have good implementation of unwanted disconnection and not giving a penalty after rejoining) and if I disconnected came back and bitched around how bad the others are or that its not my fault and not apologizing, if we win or not they should be able to say that I deserve to be penalized. I know people could abuse it, but it should only come in place again when the timer is over for leaving and it would still at least be a somewhat fair chance to not get penalized for something you havent had control of.
