Hilfethread: Falsche Übersetzungen der deutschen Karten

Durch die längeren Weeklys werde ich gezwungen, meine aktuelle Minimalbeschäftigung, während ich abwarte, ob die schlechte Praxis mit den Vorbestellerkarten Schule macht, auf einen größeren Zeitraum auszudehnen. Hätte Blizzard aber mal lieber nicht machen sollen. Mein Adlerauge der Grammatik & Orthografie hat nämlich eine drastische Verschlimmbesserung der deutschen Übersetzung identifiziert.

Es fängt mit vergessenen Satzzeichen, einfachen Tipp- und Formatierungsfehlern an, wächst sich zu falsch geschriebenen und übersetzten Namen aus, eskaliert zu falsch geschriebenen Keywords und gipfelt in komplett un- und missverständlichen Kartentexten.

Ich habe 148 Karten identifiziert, die von der Seuche der schlechten Übersetzung befallen wurden. Einige von ihnen waren schon immer schlecht übersetzt, aber es sind viele neue Patienten dazugekommen (Titans, Festival, Coreset), darunter auch welche, die eigentlich als geheilt angesehen waren und nun einen Rückfall erlitten haben (Ödland)

Eine genaue Diagnose im Stil von Dr. House liefere ich später, zunächst geht es nur darum, festzustellen, wie schlimm der Befall ist. Mit 148 Karten haben wir auf jeden Fall genug Karten, um eine ganze Erweiterung als befallen anzusehen. Wenn wir von einer maximalen Standardrotation mit 6 Erweiterungen + Coreset (der Einfachheit halber als 2 Erweiterungen gewertet) ausgehen, dann ist ein ACHTEL aller Karten infiziert!

Uns fehlen aber noch 2 Erweiterungen in diesem Jahr, also sind ein SECHSTEL aller Karten im Spiel falsch

Die Dunkelziffer ist wahrscheinlich sogar noch höher, da ich nur einen schnellen Überblick vorgenommen habe und nicht jede Karte akribisch mit ihrem einzig wahren englischen Original verglichen habe
