Hey everyone,
I just need to get this off my chest (before this damn goblin blows me up again).
So tonight my guild had yet another Mythic Gallywix mount run night (4th - 5th in total)… and I may have personally contributed to a few wipes. Not because I messed up the canisters — no, no, that part’s mostly fine. I wiped in the last phase, had the debuff from carrying a bomb like a responsible raider (lol), only to get deleted by the combo of the spinning laser, the blue lightning area on the ground, and that cone that still slaps way too hard even for geared players. Instant explosion. Again.
Here’s the thing though: Mythic Gally feels harder than some Mythic MFO bosses, and that’s just silly. This is an ~8-month-old fight, and yet it’s wiping casual & mid-tier guilds like it’s week one although with having decent ilvl ~720-725. With The War Within winding down, now would be such a good time to let more casual and mid-core groups grab those Mythic mounts themselves (instead of buying a boost) and actually close out the tier feeling good.
Even a tiny change would go a long way — like adding 2–3 extra seconds on the 4th canister timer so you can bait the beam and still reach it without feeling like you need a teleport macro and divine intervention.
Is anyone else feeling this? Are we missing something huge, or is Gally just overtuned compared to where it should be at this stage?
