Many have noticed that since 8.0, the checkbox for DK voices is gone. So I was messing with my settings to resolve an issue with latency (which turned out to be another whole issue entirely) and I mistakenly messed up my setting for my DK’s voices. After some trial and error based on my WTF config file, I was able to determine that this is the cVar that determines if you have DK voices or not:
Sound_EnableDSPEffects “x”
If this is set to 0, DK’s will have normal voices when you relaunch the game. If it is set to 1, DK’s voice effects will be enabled when you restart the game. This setting is easily found in the cVar browser using the AdvancedInterfaceOptions addon.

World of Warcraft - Retail/Classic (je nach dem wo ihr das Problem derzeit habt, üblich auf Classic WotLK in der Regel!)
WTF Ordner und darauf Config.wtf öffnen mit dem Editor oder ähnliches
SET Sound_EnableDSPEffects „0“ unten als neue Zeile einfach einfügen, speichern
Game starten und kein knacken mehr
Find leider nicht wie ich das auch per befehl ingame ändern kann. Aber die 2 dinge sollte es eigentlich auch lösen.
(das zweite zitat macht es rückgäng dort halt mit ner 1 versuchen.)
