Hi
I have the beautiful problem, that WoW shuts down my computer after running between 5-30 minutes.
This has happened before, on 2 other computers which all had high end HW for their time.
It began with windows 10 and 11.
The hardware is fine, the powersupply has a power of 1000W.
The computer does certainly not overheat as the others didnt aswell.
I did run wow without addons didnt install any 3rd party program (in fact wow is the only program beside MSOffice) on all previous computers.
I had it in shadowlands the first time.
Since i was a classic player, i had 3 shutdowns happen and then just abandoned this bad xpac anyway for classic.
Now i wanted to test df. It worked on my new computer until ive updated my windows 11 last weekend.
Now, i did not come to ask for help. I have been through that the last time.
I know what the problem is, the client is not properly compatible with windows and ive come to the conclusion, that each shutdown incident started after a windows update.
Dear blizzard.
Yes, you can blame our hard- and software. You can even blame windows. But its a fact, that its your job to get the client running on windows, not the other way around.
So i ask you kindly to respect your customers that pay a monthly fee by providing us with a proper client. One that neither destroys HDD’s nor force shutdowns our computers nor anything else.
It is one thing that you do not provide a proper classic wow and have no customer support left.
But to provide a non-working client is too much.
Thank you
