Dear Blizzard,
While purposely phased in the Booty Bay Bloodsail assault (not picking up and completing Doublerum or any of its consecutive quests to have Booty Bay ‘return to normal’, I am UNABLE to loot and therefore complete the WoW Anniversary Secrets of Azeroth quest ‘Pirate Foods and Superstitions’). I intend to have Booty Bay get assaulted indefinitely (Lore/RP/Achievement reasons), at least only when playing on my Rogue.
I would like to complete Alyx’ hardest challenges as well, and the phasing prevents the barrel from showing. In party sync, however, it DOES show, but becomes un-interactable.
Please know, that I covet nothing more in all 20 years of playing World of Warcraft, than my Rogue’s INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE Title and Achievement. I specifically do not want to continue the quest Doublerum (which serves to continue the Bloodsail Buccaneers quest line and end the phasing a few quests after, though damages reputation gains and drops it back to Revered) as it might put my title and achievement in jeopardy (I read about active bugs on your own forums that reset reputation to Neutral) and not being able to return to this quest phasing hurts my experience.
I politely ask for your advice.
I know it is undesirable for Blizzard to mark a quest/objective/achievement ‘complete’, yet I politely ask you to advance me to the next stage of this quest ‘Pirate Foods and Superstitions’ without removing my Rogue’s phasing; by allowing me to complete the quest or turn it in at Alyx. I fear the step after (I believe I ought to speak to Scowling Rosa) has a similar issue in this phasing.
In conclusion:
- Stuck at quest, risk of losing other progress;
- Bug report submitted;
- Workarounds from internet do not resolve;
- I delved through forums and online tools already;
- Party Sync either direction could resolve but does not make the barrel interactive;
- Lore-wise Alyx nor Bloodsail Buccaneers have no political influence or business over one another, hence the barrel should be lootable and quest ought to be advanced.

P.S. for other gamers: I purposely do not want to leave the phasing zone on this character. Progress is account-wide, but up until the previously completed quest. This totals 8 quest chains, excluding current active one. Therefore I would have to re-do them on another character and time is a constraint nowadays.
