I have been using my Intel Macbook Pro with SC2 for a long time playing online and it’s been great. I recently upgraded to a Macbook Pro with M2 chip (24GB memory) and SC2 is basically un-playable. Well, it runs and I can play it but when I have more than 20 units on the screen it gets too choppy to play! From what I have seen there is a patch for the M1 to make it run smooth, can I expect something similar for the M2? I would love to be able to play again! thanks.
There is a SC2 tech forum just for Macs. There is some chat about VSync and FPS settings that may help, but I haven’t seen anything definitive. Check here:
