Are GDKP runs bannable (WoW)

Hello,

I’d like to apologise for posting here but I’m not allowed to post in the WoW forums.

As the title says my question is are those kind of runs bannable? I’m old fashioned and rely only on proffesions/AH to make a living so I’m not a fan of GDKP runs and had neved done one until 7th of October when I decided to do one just to see what are they for (not a pleasant experience tho, won’t do it again).

Three days later I recieved an email, notifying me that my account has been closed due to “Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy”. So how come hundreds of GDKP runs are held every day and when I decide to try on SINGLE one in my WoW experience I get punished. Meanwhile I checked the discord server of that GDKP run and it’s still going, no punishment on the leading staff or the other participants whatsoever.

If you have problems posting in the WoW forum, you should work on resolving these, instead of posting in the wrong forum. Btw, discussions of bans are a violation of the code of conduct. You might appeal once via a ticket. You should have received a link in the e-mail regarding the ban.

Have you tried to appeal your ban yet ?

There were a lot of bans that got overturned (false positive) a few days ago (Americas / SEA region)… see:


Create a Starter Edition account and level a hero to level 10. That should allow you to post on the WoW forums. You should probably be posting in the Customer Support category.

Note: The WoW forums are region specific… your battletag shows that your home region is Americas / SEA; if you played on Europe, you need to use the Europe forums… and @TMan has already provided a link to those.
