Well, you have to offer Blizzard something more than profits. Blizzard’s withdrawal from Russia and the CIS was prompted by political considerations. So, in order to change the situation, you have to invoke politics as well.
For instance, I am against the war in Ukraine. I don’t think the situation in Ukraine-Russia relations has ever been so bad as to cause a war. Putin’s decision to launch one was stupid. So, Blizzard could resume business in the CIS and channel the earnings to support Ukraine. Many local fans would love that. And Blizzard’s management might like the optics.
