Now, I don’t want to toot my own horn I’m a long time blizzard fan since Warcraft I have owned and played almost every single game and expansion countless money spent on years of years and years of wow subscriptions and mounts and stuff. This whole can’t really link your Xbox for 365days. Things is kind of crap. This is the only company I’ve known to do this. Back in October I screwed up. Just got the Xbox. Didn’t know how it worked. My son logged in screen look like it was my screen I logged in. I linked my account to his overwatch 2 account so I’ve never played it because of that. Epic fail right there. Waiting 365 days to have access to my account that I’ve had since before my son was born and he’s about to be 15 in December. So that brings to a new point. I went to buy a diablo 4 on pc mind you have already bought in the $100 special edition on Xbox but my son doesn’t have his extra controller and he’s over for the weekend and for the next couple days maybe week or so and he wants to play with me again. So I was like I’ll just buy it on PC since it’s cross play and cross progression. Well. I logged into the account that I’ve logged in for 15 damn years and bought the game. Not thinking I can’t link it. I can’t access my character to play with his character that we played together the whole time we played this game. So now I’m screwed out Time with my son. Got to wait till up to 24 hours to get here from a ticket about not refunding. Just transferring which account bought it because if I do a refund and I don’t get the money back right now I can’t buy the game again for like 3 or 4 days or so. You know if it’s to give me money the instantly I would do that now but it doesn’t say that. Because a simple and new mistakes from a dad that works so much and has little time to himself and my brain is scattered and I made one wrong click before I thought about it and I have to suffer. I get I get like the whole bot thing and the spam and thing and whatever the hell it is that you guys require a phone number to play over watch or whatever and this new system of linking crap. But I’ve had my account for 15 years. Almost I’ve put in thousands of dollars into this account and I got to wait and I earned the right to get a one-time pass here to link my account over again because I made a simple stupid ass mistake. And don’t let me get started on activision dear acquired company because they’re dropping of all big time too. I’ve had to take it open for 30 days now that they were talking to me every day with about until we the day we solved the problem which still doesn’t make any sense to me because I’ve gotten all the call of duty rewards for watching the twitch streams for the first week second week Thursday before week 5th week. But the one week did they have a bad camo for a gun, the lightning camo actually I don’t get the rewards and they try to blame it on a twitch link to the wrong account error. But I’ve never touched it. I have one switch account. Well had one. Now I have a brand new one since they want to claim that mine’s all screwed up. But anyways so I really linked my account that they said I had to link to get the rewards because that’s the account that I watched the stream on and then I sent that email back. It isn’t 30 damn days I heard nothing. My tickets still open to sitting there. I’ve responded once a week with no hey what’s going on you guys just turned. Ignore me like you know they’re too busy people for saying leave the kids alone but people who earn rewards in the game by watching a stream that you promoted me to watch. But you didn’t give me jack crap for doing it. So to ensure that I got to twitch rewards for Diablo 4, I made a brand new twitcht to watch those streams what’s the 30 damn days? And I’m thinking I have a reward so I went ahead this late anyway so now I probably missed out on this whole call of duty crap. I’m just taking working hard for my money, put my money into a game and let’s see my time into a game and listening my time into watching streamers play the game to earn rewards to not get nothing in and yeah but watching all my friends have the same reward when we all watch it together. But they all got the gun cameo but I didn’t. That’s just I don’t even want to play anymore. No because it’s a free item. They don’t have the time to waste on me but I bet you if I was going to pay $100 right now for this skin but it’s not let me hit the buy button and they would sure find a way to get me to buy that buy button right? I guarantee they would find a way to make that purchase go through if I was going to spend $100 right now. So I know where to find it in the first time because it took them 2 to 3 days to answer me before. But the one time I said the words I’m fed up with the stupid support team hold. I got an instant 2 seconds later response about watching my language and and vulgarity and threats. I didn’t threaten to be voted anybody I said what it was. They’re being a bunch of crybabies to me is what it sounds like. I mean I thought I was trying about this ticket issue and about my issues with the game but I mean they’re over there like he called me stupid… Trust me The expletive deleted I wanted to use for them I was very polite and all the conversations Little frustrated. Obviously a little irritated that they weren’t listening to me. I had to explain to 10 different people like look. You don’t understand me. I’m never had a problem with the rewards. Now I am having a problem. Can’t you just look at the thing I have sent you screenshots showing that I was on my account and said I unlocked the rewards. I showed you my in-game screen. This is like how that is locked to that account but no here. We are about 2 months into the issue and I still don’t have a stupid gun blueprint. I don’t want to all steam got the rights to sell a $30 bolt pack with the vault skins and everything but nobody else can. How’s that fair that I have to buy my son in? You know if say I had five kids and they all want to play call of duty and have the skins. I have to pay $500 so they can only have $100 version of the game to have the skins unlocked on each. That’s stupid if I bought it on the one Xbox anybody on the Xbox to it. And that’s the funny thing is the game tells me I own the volt addition on my account but I don’t but it says I do so. I can’t even go by the vault edition because he bought it on my Xbox and that’s where his Xbox account is. But it’s okay because I’m better than Activision and I know it. I’m in a video game programming school right now. I Actually go to SNHU. But yeah I found a way around it if I could log into the PC version on steam. I equipped one of the volt things and then I log out and go on to my Xbox. As long as I don’t spot characters to take the skin off or delete the gun camo it’s still there… I don’t know when did it become about the money… Yeah in the paycheck will be nice. I’m sure when I’m done with school if I get a good job doing this. But like the only reason I’m going to school for this is don’t want to create and recreate the classic concept of a video game. It was made one time and never repeated but everybody I talked to said the game was badass so I want to take that vision from back then every birth it now and I had the perfect fall of the system to do it. Especially with the you know whole skins thing being a thing like this game can easily market the hell out of that … Mine didn’t go places. I almost had it completely made in a unreal engine. Just some of the more complicated mechanics that I couldn’t figure out on my own. I need to be taught. But yeah enough ranting . Because I have the achievement I can link it in while they gave me back my better hip in like 10 years after the fact I deleted it 10 years ago sold it to vendor. Because I didn’t want to go to the hospital trying to do the quest again. You know and I felt like if I would have known that it was going to be trans box coming out soon. You know one year one day I would ever sold it. But because I did sell it. I never had the xmog so One of the coolest gms ever messaged me in game sound like the achievement. I sent my link to the achievement mail received. Anyways, yeah I had a really bad couple days and this was really a big let down. I can’t believe I was stupid enough to buy a little long stupid account. I can’t link to my Xbox… I’m just curious though if I didn’t have an account link to when I logged in. Why, though, does it still say 365 days to re-link it in account? Shouldn’t be the time from the time I removed this last account off of it . I’m kind of think of it. I got the Xbox on my birthday October 16th so that’s the day I would have linked. You know that’s the day that I’ve tried to play overwatch cuz I didn’t own any Xbox games in time and I was free so around October 16th is when I linked it on the link the wrong account and and then unlinked… So how is it almost a year later and I’m still at 365 days still. That doesn’t make any sense either.
I don’t play on console but in the vague hope you might be able to get help I found this FAQ. It has a contact us link at the bottom of the article.

The 365-day cooldown period for changing a linked console account is very real… and cannot be removed by Customer Support. There is a rather long list of complaints on the US Blizzard forums here:
That topic includes comments by @Leviathan (MVP Tech Support) but, sadly, no reply by Blizzard.

There is some uncertainty on whether or not the 365-day thing is supposed to count down. Perhaps it’s not supposed to. Even @Leviathan wasn’t sure…
