Dear devs
I like the idea of having now a blizzard made guild or said, npc guild, where new players or old players can join.
Many players are into guilds which are empty or owned by 10 people who have each 70 alts in it and new players and old players just are used for fillers while they have bnet friends or discord friends to play the game with and not guildies, guildies are just fillers in modern wow.
A blizzard guild can be a tool to reconnect people again, just one char based on ip can join, so if you mess up, people know you and you have the consequence.
It can be also good for guild hoppers, who can find their own type of people in a larger pool if all new or guildles can be in one NPC guild.
People can connect better IMO, if they are in a living guild, people will have a better time in finding eachother in what type of gameplay they like.
Imo, it would be an upgrade and flex to new players if they can after tutorial be in a npc guild where people can help them and later on chose to follow their own path or just stay with the server blizzard guild.
for new players having questions answered in a true guild is better then some 700 guild with only 10 people who have 70 toons and no one ever answers cuz the GM had an addon to just random invite and not care about the guild at all, but just fillers.
Imo, it will bring people closer instead always ending up in the to many dead guilds.
moderating it would be a challenge, but if it’s IP based or account, and just like chat, where you can be locked out to chat depending on the severe, it can all work out, also, you can add people who have loremaster inside chat to help.
Also the guild should be for all levels and permanent, not just a new player chat. everyone who starts wow and ends up in npc guild should be able to stay if they feel good being there.
