I have been permanently banned in Diablo IV for “exploiting game content.” However, I have not committed any violations. I purchased Diablo IV on December 28th and have only played for 7 hours, not even getting past the beginner phase. This is my first time playing this game, and I can’t understand why I was banned. I haven’t used any third-party tools or exploited any game bugs, and I don’t even know what exploits might exist in the game.
I’m 25 years old, and in all my years of gaming, I’ve never been banned from any game. I’ve always considered myself a rule-abiding player. Honestly, if I had done something deserving of a ban, I would accept it. But I didn’t do anything wrong. I was simply completing quests and fighting monsters as intended—yet I still got banned? It’s unbelievable.
I feel like this is an insult to my character. I feel like someone falsely accused, pounding on the bars of a prison cell and shouting my innocence.
