As the topic suggests. I was trying to purchase the new WoW Midnight expansion, wanted to add my credit card to buy it however it just tells me “Heads up! Something went wrong. Select another payment method or try again later.”.
I’ve tried adding the money as Bnet Balance to use that, but I can’t because it won’t let me add my credit card in order to purchase the balance.
I tried going to the web browser version of the store. Exactly the same error.
I tried logging into my account and adding a new payment method, where it gives me options for Credit Card and Paypal, both just say “An error has occurred.”.
I have tried everything I can find in the FAQ’s, so generic advice about clearing caches etc won’t cut it. A quick internet search shows me that this is a fairly common issue.
It is literally impossible for me to give Blizzard money at the moment, my subscription is due for renewal shortly before Midnight launches and if this continues much longer I will be cancelling. I doubt anyone at Blizzard will pay this any attention, but if anybody has any advice for solving this it would be appreciated.
