So i’ve been experiencing trouble connecting to d2 .
i reported this issue by taking a ticket 16 days ago ( problem occured 4 days before that so total 20 days now ) i got a autoreply mail explaining its a temp ban 1-14 days ( yes 20 days now so … ) and the reasons why you could get that ban .
I did nothing of the reasons listed to me that could have caused it .
As i play the game 100% legit !!
Refreshed the ticket already 3 times , and its clear nobody reads them as every time i get answered by the same autoreply mail i got the first time .
Would be realy nice to get some support from som1 working for bliz and not just a autoreply service .
by now i probebly already lost a char or 2 as they where less then 20 away from expire , was intended to refresh them the moment error occured
Also note that i live by myself , i am the only one with acces to my internet ( protected by code ) so there is no way anyone alse could have done somthing to cause this either .
Looking forward for helpful support for once …
Hello Cripler,
First of all, it wasn’t an automated reply to your last ticket but a Gamemaster answering you. Secondly, there is unfortunately nothing we here in the forum can’t do for you as we here do not have access to accounts to verify a suspension. If you have further questions, please reopen your ticket.
Kind regards
Kiemmaki
What’s your opinion?
Hello again,
Well to be honest, a possible suspension is not really a technical issue like a real connection problem due to a blocked connection because of a firewall/antivirus program or an issue with a router configuration but an account issue.
Account issues though can only be checked via tickets as we here in the forum do not have access to said accounts since we wouldn’t need access to solve a solely technical issue. I am really sorry that you get the impression but the colleagues will check this again for you if you reopen your ticket.
Kind regards
Kiemmaki
What’s your opinion?
Well the game worked for 2 years on this pc with this internet , nothing changed .
No extra firewals no extra virusscanners .
Al i did was playing d2 with a friend one day and get restricted the other day .
While bliz sup claimed the ban go’s from 1-14 days and i m already few days past that i reopened ticket to tell them that the ban is longer then the maximum they told me .
And al i get again is a list of things that could cause this , wich is simply a copy of what was listed in the 1st reply .
i am well aware what can cause these bans thats why i avoid anything that could harm me . No use of just repeating that , i want answere why my ban takes longer . give it a week more and i just retire as i wil have lost everything i owe and saved for in the game over the years anyway
Hello again,
Unfortunately, for some restriction, it doesn’t have to be you doing something wrong as you can read here
“If you are absolutely certain you did not spam, keep in mind that anyone behind your network, or if your ISP shares your IP address (as in more than one persons are given the same IP address), gets restricted from battle.net 2, you will suffer the penalties along with them.
This is the unfortunate disadvantage of using a shared IP address.”
Please read through that whole paragraph as it might explain it for you.
Kind regards

What’s your opinion?
As i mentioned i am the ONLY one that could acces my internet and i have never given out my cd key to anybody .
It is simply impossibe that anything happened against the rules on my ip / ISP or any other p u can think of
I feel so betrayed you have no idea , 20 years exclusivly playing bliz games in a legit way and then get punished like this out of nowhere .
A ban can’t be forever it must be possible to check for how long it stil lasts . But no they rather repeat what has been said already .
Wil reopen it once more if nothing new gets responded that is actualy helpful you’l lose a realy loyal fan .
Just in case, have you checked with your ISP that your IP is not a shared one? And if so, you could also try and change your IP or request that from your ISP.
Kind regards
Kiemmaki
What’s your opinion?
Tbh i have no clue on how to change ip . I’m not that great if it comes to tech aspects of pc .
Not even sure if its possible , pretty sure i got a static ip
Hello,
That might be a question that your ISP can answer.
Kind regards
Kiemmaki
