Character data issue: Talent trees missing & Engineering specialization quest stuck

Hello. I have a serious progression issue on my WOW Classic character.

:one: Missing talent trees

My Talent panel is completely empty — there are no talents visible in any tree.

It only shows:

“Assassination Talents: 0” and “Unspent Talents: 1”

even though my character is level 46.

I tried relog, full UI reset, disabling all addons — nothing changes.

:two: Goblin Engineering specialization stuck

I started the quest “Goblin Engineering”, received the red book, traveled to Gadgetzan, but the book disappeared and I could not complete the hand-in.

I abandoned the quest and now none of the NPCs offer it again, including Nixx Sprocketspring.

It looks like some internal progression flags on my character are broken (talent data + profession specialization state).

Character details:

• Name: Vyrezator

• Realm: Spineshatter (EU)

• Class: Rogue

• Level: 46

• Race: Gnome (Alliance)

This forum is for community help on technical issues (installation, crash, etc…) on Legacy Games – very old games such as Diablo II (2000).

World of Warcraft (both Retail and Classic) has its own set of forums… use that forum for any discussion, bugs and/or issues with that game.

Same here, currently missing 10 talents points with none unspent, logged in to an empty UI and action bars totally reset, only on 1 character though.

Blizzard says the issue was resolved a week ago…

You should be posting on the WoW forums and/or reporting it as a bug.
