After an update tonight I can’t retrieve my character list.

Having the same issue, are you also stuck for a long time on “Retrieving realmlist” and can’t see the number of characters you have on the realms?

Same issue on mop classic, after a while i get into the realm, try to log on my character and then it says “character not found”

yeah same i cant log in to my chars, says world server is down

Saame here. After the caracter list is loaded wont connect to server. Drop off wit an erorr caracter not found…

Idem on wow classic and retail.

same issue here. After a few minutes on the loading screen in retail, it throws me back to the character selection and says: “Realm server is not active”. in classic it says after a few minutes: “Character not found”

Can someone explain to me what you’re still doing with this wowk when it can’t load our characters? You’re making me stop playing the game and what’s wrong with it …

Same on Anniversary, characters appear after a while but trying to login with one, results in a character not found error. Can’t play.

Same here…char list loaded, I can see where my char is, but after long loading progress it falls back to char list with quote “character not found”. Pity, I have like 2 free hours to play atm.
EDIT:…anniversary realm. Classic realm (Pyrewood) goes smooth.
EDIT 2: now I´m not even get character list, even on SOD, or Anniversary

Same here. Started the game after a break and cant play. Nothing new it seems.

When i log into WoW, my charaters are there but every time i click on one - it says - Charater not found

things i’ve tried

  • restarting app & laptop (closing everything)
  • deleting files and WoW entirely off my laptop and reinstalling
  • tried to created new charaters which it wont let me (times out)

Retail WoW:
I’m Having the same problem, it was working till around 1am for me UK time, when I log in just now its just circling and then won’t let me do anything…any news from blizzard?

Same, retrieving character list, but nothing happen, also can’t set anything there, can only close Wow. App stuck too, can’t start scan and repair.

Same issue on anniversary, characters not displayed. After a long wait they appear but then a long attempt to login followed by the message “character not found”.

Takes a lot of time to log in and after selecting a character I got the message : Character not found.

Classic WOW
I can’t log in with 85+ characters
I can log in with characters up to level 60.

It feels like there’s a bug with the characters in Pandaria
