Character transfer error due to mailbox

Hi!

I’ve been trying to transfer my 60 mage from Earthshaker PVP for a couple of days now. When I click on transfer I get the following message “Please clear the mail from this character’s mailbox.”

I’ve tried the following:

  • Checking that I have no players ignored.
  • Disabling all addons. Also removing the WTF and Cache folders.
  • Abandoning all quests.
  • Cancelling all auctions, removing all mail etc. Even downloading a mail addon that reads and collects all email.

Nothing seems to be working, and it’s been a couple of days now. I would think that if it was due to an pending mail, I should have received it by now.

Any idea on what is causing this, or how I should proceed? Have tried opening a ticket, but no idea how long it will take for a GM to get to it - and I really want to transfer asap to join a guild on the new server :slight_smile:

Hi there!

What this seems to be is some delayed mail from taking part in the ZG raid, usually some coins. So they seem to be arriving in 24-48 hours of the raid ending, and then you can pick them up and begin the transfer.

We sadly can’t delete the mails for you as they’ve not yet technically arrived for us to see, hopefully you can complete the transfer soon now that you know to expect the mail!
