Character transfer

Hello,

I have just bought a game subscription so I could play with my friends on the WoW classic,
but I didnt know the server will be locked with the character creation.
Is it possible to make character here with the help from the support?
If not can you tell me if/when the server is going to be open once more?
The server is called Golemagg (EU).
