I own the Warcraft Battlechest box set which runs on W10 but won’t show the movie files,only plays audio…so I downloaded and installed the classic install that Tharemder mentioned.I entered the Reign of Chaos key,thought it was going fine,watched the opening I remembered,but after, it started playing the last patch content(I guess)…no human campaign,undead,orc or ??? does it start with night elf or Frozen Throne or?..whatever it is,it is not the original.If it were,it would begin with the tutorial and progress correctly.Thanks for trying,now I have to delete this and re-install the cd again.This “classic” patch doesn’t even say which one it is to begin with so I have no Idea what I’m playing.Need help?

I bought both ROC and Frozen Throne many years ago. I recently bought a new computer, and decided to download them both. So I downloaded ROC, and it started fine. Then I download Frozen Throne, and there was no longer an option to play the ROC campaign. It was Frozen Throne or nothing.

If you’ve installed Warcraft III via the latest download from our website, there’s a little button to the right of the Single Player button which will let you swap between the Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne versions of the game. If you’re in the Frozen Throne, it looks like an Orc’s face, and if you’re in Reign of Chaos, it’s the Lich King’s face
