I just would like to share some thoughts about this game, I am not an expert about it but I am a lover of this game since Vanila and this feedback is about Classic Wow (Vanila, TBC, WOTLK)
I remember that I’ve submitted a feedback to wow through the game about creating classic servers option and I am glad that came true thanks to all the players who shared the same opinion. Blizzard accepted this challenge and made it possible so that’s a big plus for the game but I think with some updates to the classic world it would make a big difference to the players that play or want to play. Firstly I understand that the classic ways should be exactly like they were but I don’t think it wasn’t considered that it will never be like it were because at those times those were the “new expansions” and there were players enough to play with and no new systems were created at that time that made the game flow better like it is now at Shadowlands – I am talking about Group Finder, Quest, Leveling… So after I returned to the game this is what I think:

Group Finder should be the updated version because it connects all the servers. It’s really frustrating having to wait 1h or more for a Dungeons, Raids or BGs. Honestly, I think this is the main reason why the servers come to be empty after a while and this doesn’t ruin the classic experience…it improves it.

Quests there should be an option to do it as in a classic way experience (with no support) or in the updated way. I say this because we all end with an Addon called Questie (27M+ downloads…) what’s the point then?

Leveling: Classic experience makes the leveling hard, I understand that, but after the first char maybe should be considered to automatically add 50% buff for our alt chars? It takes way to long. I hate leveling… I just want to hit high lvl so that I can do what I really love. In my case PVP.

Classic Realm Transfer: 25€ to transfer a char in classic servers is way to expensive… normal servers I understand… but still expensive. Lower it or make it free…this might balance the servers… Best would be 1 server for all but I believe that’s a tech problem that we might not be ready for it…yet… Maybe just create alliance servers and Horde Servers then connect them? It really sucks for a player who doesn’t know that he could find online which server is best for him to play and then realizes that the server is mainly the opposite side… with this Classic Group Finder system it is so frustrating.

Shadowlands Classic: Why wait if you can just leave it as it is and make it the pre-pach preparation like you are doing from Classic to Classic Expansion. Let people decide if they want to go forward with their chars or not. Understand that some people just want to enjoy (forever) the char that they geared up… like me.
I think it’s healthy to have expansions & seasons but the fact that we have to do it all over again… Leve up and gear up every new season it makes me lose interest in the game and this is a very personal opinion…I just like to log in into my char and play pvp. That’s why I love the classic servers idea… after all seasons your char wont need to gear up or lvl up again.
