Comp timeout because of freeze 5 sec into match

My experience with Overwatch 2 has been nothing but horrible so far. What just happened, topped it all.

In my 30 minute break I thought I would play a round of comp with a friend of mine. 5 seconds into the game my game completely freezes. Discord is fine, my connection is fine but the game just decides it’s cool to freeze. I hear my friend tell me I got suspended. FOR WHAT? LEAVING A MATCH THAT HASNT STARTED BECAUSE MY GAME FROZE? BLIZZARD WHAT?

Does this affect my rank score?
