Hi,
I recently changed phones, swapped my SIM card so my number remains the same. I have no access to my old phone, since it broke - which is the reason for swapping phones. Now I have the problem that my authenticator is still attached to the app on my old phone and keeps sending codes to that app.
The only option to remove my authenticator is authenticate - which for obvious reasons doesn’t work - or request an SMS code. My number should still be the same (at least the last 2 digits match and I remember getting SMS codes before) but I don’t get a code sent to me no matter how much I try.
When I try to make a ticket, it autodirects me to the page to remove my authenticator and there is no way to manually send the ticket and get an actual human being to help me. I even tried to cryptically describe my issue so the bot doesn’t recognize the issue, and then I actually get a “contact us” button, but then when I press it I get “an error has occurred, try again later”. I will try again later, but I don’t feel this will work.
At the moment my Battle.net app is still logged in, so this feels currently like the only way to get help. I feel that, at any moment, when my computer crashes or something resets, I can get booted out and that will leave me completely unable to log in again.
This is a long shot, but can I please get help talking to a real human being about this?
