So there is this popular streamer that is bringing the D2 community back to life now.
So after many many years, like most ppl that post here, i reinstalled D2 and i got the same issue.
unable to connect.
Can someone look into this?
Same problem here since months, full legit player. Only thing that works is hotspot on my mobile. I think Blizzard should realy do a FIX, the problem is not with me.
Same here, doesn’t make sense at all; I havent event played the game since I installed it and I’m banned… haha what is this?? fix the problem blizzard
I bought new copy of LOD and can’t connect with the same problem.
received a new copy of d2, lod, wc3 keys via helpdeskticket due to an account transfer.
Even then I have the same problem. Banned from the start, kept reopening the ticket, still the same ‘auto’ answer. Now my ban is till 18th, I can bet my money on it when i try 18-19 it’ll still be the same. But i’ll keep opening the damn ticket. Lame way to treat there player base!
Thrown it on the forum here and they just closed down the tread… ‘open a ticket’… 
Well blizzard, ath least you should tell us if you guys are working on a fix for this… Thanks ( the problem is not with the players, i’m now very sure of this)
@blizzard: fix the problems for the players that can’t connect on Bnet. What for god sake is this? People are paying; I bought a new version and I can’t even connect?
What do you guys say? Make a ticket? and then wait another year till you get an asnwer that actually makes sense with a solution (OR with 10 solutions that dont even make sense)

This is getting pretty frustrating already since this looks like the only possible way I’m able to contact “support” and every other way of getting help requires either getting access to some hidden under I.P’s logs, installing software to run scans or just running around the website not actually getting help.
Yesterday I bought new Diablo II and Diablo II Lord of Destruction digital keys from the official Blizzard Store. I installed the game after having some issues related to “some script not being able to run propperly” and was able to get the game to patch 1.14d, everything seemed in order.
I can’t create/join any games in Closed BattleNet for Diablo II, everything else appears to be working just fine (literally everything else: Single player mode, Open BattleNet, IP shared games), but the one piece of content I do actually enjoy does not work.
I try joining a game, and it takes around 10 seconds for the screen to switch into “Loading screen”, but as soon as that happens, a black frame flashes and it gets me out of the loading screen back to the “Create game/ Join game” menu. Help please.

So they bann only IP. So in most cases if you renew your IP from the router settings, or connect via wifi hotspot this should work. Why they ban because of the mass cracking of the game and these stuff, they are just pissed off cracked games. So if you have installed mods like plugy or anything else is considered as modification to the game and ban ip. In several banned IPs your CD key becomes invalid. So think wisely, before doing anything stupid. They just dont inform these and are quiet as mouse. So I HAVE the question WHY MY IP IS BANNED and for HOW LONG???

opened a new ticket… again…
Same problem here bought the game few weeks ago.
Installed the game.
Cannot connect to battlenet ……
Is that why a legit player spends 20 fucking euro’s to be tottaly ripped off ….
Shame on you blizzard resolve the fucking problem….

Im also having the same problem. Think i got a temp ban for switching chars too quick ? then I had too switch too my phones IP, then that got banned too… And now i just keep getting: you were disconnected from battlenet please reconnect. no matter what which IP im using…
Thought about buying another CD-Key, but abit hesitant, since other people in the thread is saying that won’t work either… And If you can get banned for switching chars too fast, Or scrolling in text IG, or using skills without Cooldown, whats too say that i wont get banned again ??
Anyways I have opened a ticket, and hoping too hear back from support…
