Hello, perhaps someone can assist me. I purchased the D2 and D2 LOD games from Blizzard today and was able to install them. However, when I tried to access Battle.net on LOD I had to dl a patch and I got the error message Patching cannot be completed because the patch archive is corrupt. It listed the File name: D2XP_IX86_1xx_114d.mpq I reinstalled like the prompt suggested but got the same result, has anyone had this happen before? Thank you in advance for any help.
i might have encountered it before. only advice i can give you is to try to download the patch manually. patches scrolls have patches up to version 1.13d. it is likely easier to get them from there than from battle.net.
Thank you, that info put me on the right path. I found a different website that had patch 1.14d on it and i was able to install it with no issues. i cannot post the link but i just searched for diablo 2 lord of destruction battle.net patch 114 in a browser and it was the 1st option.
