I’ve spoken to over a dozen so-called Game Masters, in live chat, ALL of which outright refused to help me, and a couple of them simply told me they dont even have the power to delete accounts.
I dont know if the latter is true, but regardless, its not my problem.
I specifically explained to those GMs, that my account (this one, the one I’m posting this from), was created with an e-mail address that is active until today, and this e-mail associated with the account has never been changed , EVER.
This means that e-mail verification should be more than sufficient, and not a security concern.
I cannot be an attacker or hacker, it really is me, the owner of this account.
The likelihood that an attacker got a hold of both my e-mail AND Battlenet account, is very slim, and something that should be MY concern, and MY responsibility.

There is no security that cant be broken, and everyone is responsible for their own passwords and internet accounts.
Adding additional steps, like two-step verification is good, but should always be optional.
