I can’t seem to login to Battle.net in Diablo 2. I figured it was because I was using my old CD keys and games, so I bought the digital version, but it has the same problem… I was going to play with a friend tonight for the first time in years, and I’m really bummed.
I did a fresh install after getting the new keys from the blizz store. After logging in for the first time it downloaded the 1.14d update. After that it seems to get stuck at ‘checking version…’ and then says it can’t connect to the server. It’s the same for all servers (EU, US E, US W). My friend has no trouble connecting, so I doubt it’s actually a server issue.
its because they scammed every one i have same problem cant connect to bnet servers and like your post here there is no support they dont care they have your money

I’m afraid that something did go wrong somewhere as you have been restricted from access the servers. This can happen sometimes especially when changing keys. You will be able to access the servers again in 9 days time.
I also want to say your old keys unless banned would have been fine, you just had to attach them to your Blizzard account to change them from 16 Digit keys to 26 Digit keys. You didn’t need to repurchase the game.
Should you have any problems connecting in 9 days please let us know.
I think you may be misunderstanding the problem granpajestas, not all cases are the same as yours so please stop spreading misinformation.
Got almost the same problem after reinstalling the game got the error message : blizzard updater v2.72 patching cannot be completet because the patch archive is corrupt file name D2XP_IX86_1xx_114d.mpq , fi you are unabel to connect please contact blizzard tech support
amazing the only time i get a response is after calling you out my acc has been banned from the day i brought your version of the game i sent tickets and got stupid auto responces that where just as good as microsoft asking me if i turned it off and back on again 100% proved my point now that you have gone out of your way to say something to me how about unbanning my account so i can play the game i brought from you what 2-3 years ago telling me you didnt scam me? lol

just thought i would update this with a little search i have found 4-5 other posts all recent with the same problem like i said they dont care now they have your money its just automated rubbish and mr lxthocaesil really you call me out for missinfo when there are multiple posts of the same problem that you and your team clearly dont care nore want to fix thats assuming you actually know what the problem is and that i doubt very much your a pathetic excuse for a support group… go ahead ban me again for speaking the truth
