Possibly related, but there are a bunch of reports that SC Remastered is down in EU as well.

Let’s give the Blizzard technicians time to see if they can fix the problem.

I am also affected and I cannot play Diablo 2 LOD 2000 Europe server, with the same problem that has been occurring for the last 24 hours:

  • password error
  • long waiting times
  • Battlenet disconnections

I want to imagine that Diablo 4 is causing problems on the servers.

I was able to start a new game on US East, Europe and Asia… could you be more explicit?

EDIT : Same with the three other regions, I keep getting the usual error messages.

Yes, I just tried again… I was able to create a new Ladder character.

What message ?

A temporary restriction, perhaps ?
Are you using a VPN ? or trying to play from a business network (at work or in a hotel, for example)

I tried connecting with a VPN yesterday by mistake, but I just desactivated it and had no problem logging in and playing right after.
THEN later in the evening I’ve been blocked (no VPN, not even in background) and still can’t today.

So this unvoluntary use of VPN could be the reason but it’s very strange I still could log in just after that and not later…

Yeah… don’t know… sometimes, I wish we could look at our account and see these “restrictions” or other account penalties… the way Blizzard can.

Assuming it is a VPN restriction – the account will be available only in 14 days… down to the last second after your attempt to login with VPN.

Huh… wait WHAT ??? 14 DAYS ?!! :dizzy_face:
On the temporary restrictions page you posted they say 48h and it lists the VPN factor. This is already hardly suitable for an oversight, but 14 days ! that’s just inacceptable.

Anyway thanks for your help, I’ll post an update in 2 days, hopefully everything will be back to normal. ^^’
