Hi, I installed ( and tried reinstalling) the Beta but the Play button is still grayed out for me with the message “This game cannot be played yet”. I am pretty sure the beta already started a few hours ago. Tried restarting the PC / Battle.net, doesn’t help. Anyone know what do ?

I have the same issue. I reinstalled, relogged but nothing works. I preordered and was able to play the closed beta last weekend. No luck today.
Yeah, I’m having the same issue as well… I just downloaded the 24 gig download and the play button is dark stating that the game can’t be played yet even though they announced that it would be playable at 10a.m PST… it’s now 4p.m PST as of writing this. LMK if you find an answer.
Same here, tried everything, including reinstall, nothing works.
I must add that early beta was working for me
I solved it.
First I uninstalled the game and then deleted manually the Diablo 2 Resurrected Beta folder (D:\Diablo II Resurrected Beta) which was left even after uninstall.
I logged off, closed the battle.net launcher, opened the task manager and closed “battle.net update agent” which was still running in the background. I logged back into the launcher and reinstalled the beta. Suddenly it worked.
I assume the solution was the manuall deletion of the D:\Diablo II Resurrected Beta folder.
