Diablo 4 - Aspect of corruption - Potency clarification

Greetings, Could I get a clarification of an aspect for a rogue that reads, that increases the potency of Rogue’s Imbuements against Vulnerable enemies. What does increase potency, is pure damage upgarde, greater AOE or more vulnerable damage or shadow damage ?
