Diablo IV Banned without any reason

Hi anyone facing this issues? So my friend just got banned for no reason. I suspect because I purchase diablo 4 from my country, my friend is studying abroad in EU. Battle net charge me in euro, so currency is not an issue here.

What I did just login with her account last month from my country and purchase Diablo 4 for birthday gift, then logout that’s it, never login again.

But last night she’s got perma banned, which I don’t know the reason because my friend don’t have any other game other than diablo 4 which is not playable yet?

It says
Your Battle.net Account is banned.

i am facing same issue. just did quests and leveling. suddenly permanent ban with no reason.
email from blizzard contains no reason.
cannot appeal, can not do any action because “Your Battle.net Account is banned.”
could you give any feedback ?

I submitted a ticket but still dont get any response yet.

I mean there must be misunderstanding.

  1. She is new to battle net, most likely she doesnt have any friends besides me and my folks. We play together when Diablo IV server slam. So scamming or spamming other users I would say 0 possibility, she does not even have friends at battle net. And she’s not a person like that.
  2. Most likely she doesnt have any game other than Diablo IV, so this must be related to Diablo IV
  3. This is her birthday gift, the game she really wants to play. Imagine you cannot enjoy your gift.
  4. Maybe this is personal but she’s panicking and feel bad because her account is banned, which is not her fault. I mean come on we just wanna enjoy Diablo IV

Sometimes the system will block (ban) an account if it detects suspicious behavior like another computer logging into it.

It’s an automatic protection measure to safeguard the account.

You’ve done the right thing by submitting a ticket. It will take some time for a response as Blizzard support is slow because of the volume of issues players have daily.

The main thing to do is submit the ticket and just wait for their response.

that’s good thing blizzard have that safety measures. But it’s in the wrong direction.

In my case I login into her fresh account because she never used battle net before, bought the game, then never ever logging into that account again, because of course she changed her password. But why the email says like she is doing something wrong.

Without option to appeal or something to contact. Even when you make ticket you need an account, which she can’t login because it’s banned. I need to make ticket for her.

This feels like she’s accused of using fraud CC, blizzard could check IP that login into her account also purchase Diablo for my account, using same payment details.

Sorry personal again, I just can’t stand her feeling guilty for something that is not her fault, and this is Diablo IV, this meant to be a good time for us gamers and people who played Diablo 2. Oh man, Blizzard please

Check this link below. It should give her options for communication to Blizzard even when unable to login to the account.

There is an option button…“I can’t log in”. If you don’t see it, then log out and reload the page. She should be able to see it since she can’t log in.

Prolly she’s already done something but not sure what she already said to support since we are at different timezone. I just want to sort this out because this meant to be her birthday gift, not something that she needs to fight for it.

It’s all I can think of for now. I don’t know if it will work. But, it’s a way she can access help for her account.

She needs to submit a ticket herself. It will be a bit of time and work but I hope you can get it fixed soon.

How can you even play D4 when it’s not even released yet?

played at server slam, kinda stress test the server I think before release.

anyway support came back to me and said how to appeal, I can’t do it since it’s not my account. But still don’t know the reason yet.

Good to hear you got a reply. BTW, there are official D4 forums for both PC and Console. This one is normally for legacy games like Diablo 2.
