My character’s name was Calia on the Hardcore server, Soulseeker. I’m writing to you with a sincere and heartfelt request.
Calia was my first high-level character, and reaching level 48 meant a lot to me. I’ve always accepted the risks that come with Hardcore — I’ve died and started over many times without ever complaining. But this time, something happened that was beyond my control.
On the evening of August 1st, between approximately 23:17 and 23:23, the server, my party and I were disconnected during a run in Zul’Farrak. We believe it was caused by a DDOS attack. Everyone in the group was disconnected and we were completely wiped out. I take this game seriously and play carefully — I’ve never asked for anything like this before — but this situation feels truly unfair.
I’ve had such an incredible experience playing Calia, both with my in-game friends and people I know in real life. It would mean the world to me if there were any way you could consider restoring my character. I understand this is a lot to ask, but I wanted to reach out in the most respectful and honest way possible.
