I started getting an error on adding new payment method after few unsuccessful attempts to purchase an item from BattleNet Shop due to internet-purchases limit on my card.
For now I’ve done all the things on my side to fix it which Support recommended and still I’m getting this error.
This blocking me from making any kind of purchases within the shop on all the platforms/devices/browsers.
Some technicality: the error appears on any page which requires to add/select payment method option on ‘/wallet/api/user/addresses’ request with <"redirectLocation: “/init-token-error”> response.
I’ve tried to clear cache (actually tried clear all the data in the browser related to BattleNet), different browser/device/network.
I can get some sniffing (eg Charles Proxy) to check what I’m getting trying to add the payment method through mobile app, but I sure that it will be the same error.
Can you help me to investigate this error, so I’ll restore my ability to make purchase operations within the shop?
UPD:
OK, it was a soft-lock after getting several failed purchase attempts for approx. 24h.
The most annoying thing here is not that this cases should be handled differently than just blocking UI without any note why that happened, but the fact that supports didn’t answer to me with actual reason of the problem for the whole day within two different tickets.
I hope this topic will help someone facing such problems.
Best regards, Dmytro.
