Gift received and linked to wrong account


I received the new Dragonflight expansion as a gift from a friend, I accepted the gift but got linked to the wrong account.

I logged a ticket about 3 weeks ago and the ticket was marked resolved a day ago but still no change or assistance. I logged a new ticket status (opened) but no reply.

Is there something I’m missing?
any help would be gladly accepted as I’m quite frustrated atm.
